Our site is paved and level with a huge paved patio, picnic table, and fire pit/grill. Water and electric hookups only, but there’s a dump station. The bathroom/showers were a surprise because they were private! There were four (2 mens/2 womens) in each building with 3 buildings in the campground. They weren’t sparkling clean but it’s over the holidays so I’m giving them grace on that. We slept with the windows open and heard nothing but crickets and the water flowing. We’re here in December but it appears that all sites would be shaded in the summer because the place is buried in trees! Great price for a really picturesque stay. Totally recommend.

Our particular spot C-06 had no covering over the picnic table whereas all the others seemed to have one. It was clearly removed for some reason. There was nice shade at different points in the day from the big trees near us. Also, the spot had a fairly steep incline making it tough for us (first timers) to get the camper level from off the hitch. The interior spots at the park all seemed perfectly level. Looking at the other riverside spaces, most others seems to be at less of an incline, but tough to know for sure.
All that said, it is a great camping area to stay in. 50/30 power at the site and city water. Dump station near the front entrance.

Since this is a federal facility (Corps of Engineers), a 50% discount is available with a Senior Pass. $10/night is a bargain. Interesting to watch the dam operation and you see people fishing from the bank.
No WiFi, but our Verizon LTE connection was as good as it gets.

We would definitely stay here again, but we'd likely pick a different site... A6 is level with a nice river view off the passenger window, but it was work putting a 40' 5th wheel into the site (had the site across from ours between occupied, we would have had significant trouble backing in). All of the sites include a picnic table and grill (ours was also 50amp and water) and some table have a cover as well. There is a dumb station near the exit that a big rig should be able to access.

This was our first COE campground - spacious, huge central area, and only the occasional tug toot in the night.
Water at the site (and an adjacent one) was quite murky - it looked more like tea than water - so we stayed with our own fresh water tank.
You certainly can’t beat the price - or the name!

Shopping and restaurants are only 2.5miles away and yet camping here is like being far away from the hussle and bussel of the town. (The price we paid reflects the Senior pass discount price.)

Getting into the campground is a little confusing. When coming from the east/Conway, take the first right after you cross over the Arkansas River, even though the campground can be seen on the left. There are no signs indicating to take that road to the campground. This road will take you under the bridge and into the campground.
We were there in February, the off season. The office is staffed between 3 and 5 by the camp host. We had to pick a site, then go back when the office is open to register and pay.
Set on the edge of the Arkansas River, every site has a view. The roads and sites are paved blacktop. Each one has a covered picnic table, fire ring, and a concrete pedestal for your grill. Most sites have 50 amps and water. There was no campground map available upon arrival, so I'll scan the one I have and include it with my pictures.
There is a playground and a sports field. We didn't check out the restrooms. The Verizon signal was strong and I pulled in a good number of TV stations from Little Rock.
Make sure you go back across the river and check out the lock. If you are lucky, you can see a tug push barges through it.

The park had been flooded in Jan or Feb. of this year, but have made a great recovery. Great sites with lots of shade along the AR River locks & dam...I had taken tons of pics, but they were somehow lost after download so this is upsetting. Want to come back and spend lots of days/nights here. Have a boat ramp, covered picnic areas you can rent, shower/bathrooms.
