Picked here to stay because we were towards end of season and everywhere else was closed for the dates we needed. Lots of seasonals/junky looking campers. Huge campground. We stayed in site 62. Took 3” of 2x12’s to level us up side to side. And we were still not quite there. It was Halloween weekend which they did a FANTASTIC job with. Tons of decorations and activities. Very friendly staff. Bath house was decent. Insane water pressure.
Cell service with AT&T was almost non existent and WiFi was garbage. The 50amp outlet on our site didn’t work. They said they’d look into it. Didn’t bother me since l had a 30-50 adapter. Trash pickup by the dumpster truck is bright and early 7:00am. So don’t park near the office if you i tend to sleep in. Probably won’t go back. But that’s just personal preference.

Free week stay with thousand trails pass, so I feel like I shouldn’t complain too much. Except it was horrible! The biggest problem was they changed the gate code during the middle of our stay with no communication! We got back to the resort at 8pm one day to a note that the code had changed, with numbers to call that nobody picked up. They emailed us like 15 times to confirm our reservation, they could email us to let us know we wouldn’t be able to return to our home without an updated code!! We had to wait 15 minutes for a seasonal person to return and use their fob.
In general, vibes were off in the office. They don’t allow packages or mail to be sent there (the first I’ve encountered in a year of travel), and we’re real rude about telling me that.
Cell signal with AT&T and t-mobile we’re not sufficient to tether and do anything resembling work. We had to go into town and work from a library everyday.

Stayed here in the winter and had a great experience - location is pretty and feels woodsy even as it is convenient to routes into NYC. Sites are tightly spaced but wasn’t a bother given it was the off season.

If you like relaxing in nature, this park is great.

Here are the pros:
1) Great central location for local attractions - hiking/exploring
2) Many pull through full hook-up sites, easy to get around the campground. We are Thousand Trails members, so can park rig in huge waiting area and walk around to look at sites before picking one. Many people like the ridgeline sites, but no pull throughs up there. We chose site 41, below the ridge, and had pull through with no neighbors Sunday through Thursday. Felt private and quiet.
3) Did not use wifi so cannot comment
4) While T-Mobile service was weak, it was fast enough for calls/texting/internet, but I doubt you could stream anything there. Variable service from 0 bars (rare) to four bars (rare) so I give an average of 2-3 bars of 4GLTE
5) Many deer at dusk in campsites! Some local cats around as well. Seemed mostly well maintained. Staff was friendly and COVD-conscious.
6) We did not use pool or most of other onsite facilities - pretty self-contained
Cons:
1) Roads approaching campground are not really an issue, but some may feel uncomfortable with the twists and turns. We are a 42' long fifth wheel and we did fine on the local roads coming up from Rt. 209 on Winona Falls Rd.
2) A little off the grid but enough service that we could still make calls and work with the T-Mobile signal there. Service may be spotty but I have seen worse!
3) Not sure weekends, but very quiet when we were there. Some of the grass had not been cut for a while and it was high at our site. They were cutting when we were there and left our site alone without cutting when we were there.

Came offseason for a couple nights to allow us to commute into NYC to do some college touring. If you come into the stay understanding it's a TT and have realistic expectations (number of permanent sites, mediocre site quality), it's not bad. Is it Shangri-La? No, however is one of the better TT locations I've been. This TT allows you to choose your own site, which honestly all TTs should allow. We had site 16, which was up on the ridge, and definitely the best section to be in. It is a quieter section of the park and had nice sunrise/sunset views.
Grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants and the usual fast food joints were 10'ish minutes away.
Bandwidth Speed:
AT&T (Pepwave router with X-POL external antenna): 40mbps down, 10mbps up.

It's a pick your own campground, but the person at the front desk knew nothing about any of the sites. We were able to figure out some from the map, but it would have been nice to have some guidance about which sites are pull-through, have better service, etc.
The campground was really quiet, though that could have been since we were there the first week in December. It seemed like most people there were annuals though in the middle of the week, almost nobody was there. The campground is open year-round with water/sewer.
The internet service was mediocre, but our trailer booster helped immensely and it ended up not being an issue when we used that. The service on our phones was pretty bad, but existent.
The drive in was...complicated. RV Trip Wizard routed us away from 209 and in such a way that we needed to turn around and also drive some extremely narrow and windy roads. It seemed like coming in on 209 would have been easier, but we didn't drive all the way back up to I-84 to verify.

I'd consider this a nice, safe and secure site to set up for exploring the Poconos. Nothing particularly special (or particularly bad) about the park itself, but I liked the staff's friendliness and efficiency. Such a beautiful area around the Delaware Water Gap, and I consider Milford, PA, a hidden treasure. One can find more remote camps along Hwy 209 if you want to boondock or want more basic camping or need time out of the Thousand Trails system. Only one quibble: the COVID policy regarding laundry requires users to check out a key from the office. Only one user at a time limited to office hours makes getting in a bit challenging. However, we found the Wash-a-Lot Laundromat on Business-209 easy to get to, spacious, and inexpensive. Oh, and I agree with the cell-service issues from the review below. My wife bought the 3-dollar-a-day internet service but we still had issues.

Check-in was quick and easy in spite of Covid precautions. This is a first-come, first-serve park in the Thousand Trails system so we had to drive around looking for a spot. The check-in process alerted us to the sites that had issues such as no water or cable (there were 5 or 6 of them). No issues navigating my 32' coach through the roads. There were a number of spots that could have easily fit our rig (although a few would have been too tight). The site was level with good power and water. Camp was pretty well maintained and very full. Campers were polite and friendly and probably about 50% or more of them fulltime or seasonal. The amenities were all closed so can't comment on those. A big HOWEVER, though: the cell service for most providers is practically non-existent. I understand this is not the park's fault and some would say that this is "real" camping -- try telling that to the two millennials that were staying with us. I would definitely return except for that.
