A bit noisy by the highway but an otherwise well run RV park. Clean facilities, nothing fancy. Owner was great. Used Passport America discount.

Mix of Full 50 amp with sewer and water/electric 30amp only sites. ALL are pull through. Large tent area with water, some with covers and 20 amp. Dump on site.
If you are in the Rapid City area, this is the place to stay. Reasonable weekly rates (was under $30 a night with water electric only) Easy I90 access 15 mins from anything you'd want in Rapid City.
Great showers/bathrooms and laundry. Owner is happy to accept fedex/usps/ups at no charge, even delivers them to your site. Large grass areas to walk the dog. Owner was laid back and seemed to enjoy chatting with guests.
If you are doing the South Dakota residency thing, or vehicle registration and don't need a mail box, this is the place to stay. You are in Meade county, so quick run to Sturgis to do vehicle registration etc. No long lines and BS of doing it in Rapid City. In Sturgis was only person in line, parked in front of the door and was out in 10 mins, registering 3 vehicles. They didn't even make me fill out the forms, the clerk just typed it into the computer. (in rapid city there was 30+ people in line)
Only con is you are backed up to I90. So there will be road noise, but its I 90 so not much traffic and not a big deal. I couldn't hear it inside the RV, even at night with the windows open. Actually enjoyed watching the traffic pass by.
There is a train that comes through once or twice a day. No horn blows!!!, so just engine noise for 15 seconds. In the three weeks I was there, was mid to late afternoon, so not going to wake you at night.

We were in transit mode from the PNW to the midwest and just wanted a place for the night. Bathrooms were clean; we didn't use the showers or the laundry (but they were available). We arrived just at dusk and were given Site #1, and directed to NOT drive over the drain-field. When we got to the site we understood why: it had rained hard for two days and everything (including the area of the drain-field) was totally saturated. Whoever had been in our site the day before had left some deep ruts in an effort to get their rig out. We have a small 15' teardrop and we're pretty good at backing it into tight spaces, but....with a saturated drainfield on one side and a large utility pole to maneuver around (while not driving on/over the drainfield....), I ended up parking our teardrop sort of "across the top" of the site because frankly that's all one could do (a larger rig could not have gotten in without backing in over the wet drainfield.). They had plenty of other higher/drier places we could have been put for the night, not certain why they chose to put us in such a restricted location.
As for freeway noise: yes, LOUD, all night; but we expected that when we saw the RV park from the freeway before we exited. Makes you believe in the logic of Federal funding for our interstate system!!

We stayed here for 2 nights. There were full hookups and E/W spots. There were plenty of hot showers, a dump station, laundry, and propane refills, plus a tiny store. The grassy spots were level. Everything was cleaned daily. The only downside was considerable road noise from the freeway, but a fan or A/C can drown that out.

The location in general is nice, just outside of Rapid City which is a very nice area. Little over an hour to Rushmore, 1 1/2 hours to Badlands, 25 mins to Sturgis, deadwood is close by. Lots to do and lots of history in the area. Also two very nice lakes in the Black Hills about 30-40 mins away with decent fishing. I took my kayak to both but be weary that the lakes can get crowded with people doing water sports, which makes for a bumpy ride on the yak.
ATT on peplink was around 20MB down and 10MB up. TMobile was available but a little slow and didn't use it. Also didn't try to the campground wifi.
The laundry is $2.50 each for wash and dry - never seen it cost that much before..
Overall, would have to say that I'd stay here again for the price and location.

Small park, sites are very unlevel, train tracks (during the day) directly behind back row of sites, 24/7 road noise from I-90 which is very close. The only positive were the restrooms/showers which were large and well maintained. WIFI was better than most. Passport America for three days. Good Sam and military discount.

Like everywhere else here in the area, spaces fill up pretty quick as you near the August motorcycle rally time in Sturgis. Good location for exploring Rapid City, Sturgis, Keystone, Deadwood, Mt. I elected to stay a month at this location, I had lots of business in Rapid City and it was nice to have a home base. I had never rented a spot for a month but many folks here do and my neighbors became friends after my stay. The sites were very large and long pull-through, it was nice to have so much space. Sites are well marked and you'll receive an escort to your location. There is a hill of tent sites there were mostly empty farther back on the campground, it made it nice to walk around.
I've seen complaints about the owner but Vicky, and her visiting/helping niece, were nothing but nice and helpful the whole month I was there.
Mail and packages are brought right to your site. Laundry is clean and open 24-hours, although a little expensive at about $5 per load (4 each washers and dryers). The bathrooms were large for a park this size, and very clean. Propane is sold on-site but I didn't need it so I have no idea on the cost.
A couple complaints: the noise level from the highway (about 150 yards away) was bothersome normally, but horrible if you're there during the Sturgis motorcycle event like I was. You basically couldn't even talk outside to anyone from 8am to about 10pm until the event was over.
