We backed up to the creek, and beautiful changing trees. There are lots of full timers in the front section but place is clean. No amenities to speak of so you have to go to town for most items. They are working on the park slowly. It will be nice when completed. Starlink throughout the park but the back section was turned off half way through our stay. 8 days of wondering around Rapid City and the black hills.

Unfortunately there's no shade at all out the front of the trailer and we couldn't sit on the backside of the trailer because it's along a road. The good news is that the evenings cooled down quickly so we were then able to sit outside and enjoy the views.
Easy access in and out for our 45-foot fifth-wheel. Full hooks up with good water pressure. Lots of handy dog waste containers all around the park and a very large dog run.
Some road noise from I-90 in the distance, but nothing too bad.
There's a new section that gives them a lot more sites, but it's definitely more plain - no landscaping of any kind really.
Unfortunately there's a lot of 'stuff' sitting around the park in multiple locations. A lot of it looks like leftover construction items (cables, pipes, etc) and it just gives off an overall unkempt vibe.
A few other reviewers have mentioned this: when towing you DEFINITELY want to use Exit 52 - the road is in MUCH better condition. When we weren't towing, we used exit 55 to get into Rapid City as it's definitely more direct but is bumpy as heck.

After visiting the office 6 times and the attending person saying we are looking into it, they just give you the run around thinking you will just go away and they can steal your money. Nothing more than common thief's. The trash dumpster was always full and sometimes open trash laying around on the ground. My tip to make it better would be to close down and quit stealing honest customers money.

Convenient yet priced reasonably with easy access to Rapid City. Only downside is bath house has one toilet/shower for Men and one toilet/shower for Women. We stayed a week and enjoyed our stay and visited all local venues including Devils Tower.

All the sites seem to be very flat and a lot of them are along the little creek in the back area. Very quiet with wildlife, views, and starry nights.
The grass is still coming in on the newer sites, But the sites are well spaced and deep with plenty of room.
The new barn at the entrance is still under final construction and landscaping, but looks awesome.
They’re also seems to be a lot of green space to wander around on and the views are beautiful too.
All the sites are FHU with both 50 and 30 amp options with sewer & water.
The team here are really putting in a lot of effort and energy to make this an awesome park… Excited to see all the continued changes!!
PS. They also accept long terms if you’re a professional. This seems to be hard to fine in the area because everyone boot you out during the Sturgis rally or they charge you 400% more.

We paid for the overflow parking with electric (which apparently doesn't exist), but the camp host was kind enough to give us a spot with hookups because plenty were available. We definitely needed it too, we would have been running the generator all day with the heat we had just for air conditioning. -- this alone is why I am giving the 5 star rating.
This campground is pretty much a parking lot. It looks very up and coming. They are building a barn in the front and the bathrooms look like they are under construction as well.
There were a lot of wasps/hornets so we had to keep our door closed and we didn't hang outside much. The bathroom was not great. It was clean at least, but felt dingy.
Good location though, near all the state parks, rapid city and mount rushmore.

Finally had a chance to stay at Little Jon. Owner is a sweetheart and each time I have driven by there are always improvements going on. Big time for them is the Sturgis motorcycle rally. Little Jon is only about 3-4 miles from the Harley dealer in Rapid City.

I've driven past this park over the last couple of years and every year there are improvements. Sites are gravel with plenty of room and length. FHU's. There are also large and small cabins, picnic tables, a playground, WIFI and great Verizon coverage 4 bars 30.96/11.63 mbps down/up.
And very quiet. A nice country road and nestled in the hills.
