“Not a bad campground in general. But why go here when there are better spots around the corner?”

If you have firewood (or dont need any) and your own bathroom keep going to Preachers Point and find a free campsite. Why pay when you can keep going and get a spot just as good up ahead!

This is a rustic campground in the trees. It suffers from the same problems a lot of campgrounds have that are in the trees - not enough tree branch pruning! We have a 31' fifth wheel and managed to get along the interior roads and into a camp spot but we had to do some careful driving to not scratch the trailer.
There is a creek/river running through the campground that is quite pretty and with the sun shinning we welcomed the shade from the trees.
There were quite a few mosquitoes when we were there but the 'off' seemed to keep them at bay.
There are several of these 'Provincial Rec Areas' along this road but we've only tried this one, perhaps next time we might try another.
Gord would stay here again
