We intended to visit Jackson but with the forest fires and having dogs we opted to go to Teton Valley to get away from the smoke and busyness.
Glad we found this, and it was a complete fluke of calling around last minute.
The facilities are super clean and they have smores every night. The showers were great. Hot tub was nice after a long day of hiking.
RV Season ends October 15 so we lucked out with our stay as it wasn’t busy on the RV side (cabins were fully booked).
Because it was a last minute change of plans, we asked staff for recommendations of things to do and the gentleman working shared some of his favourite dog friendly hikes in the area and answered our unprepared tourist questions.
We thought we’d stay one night but stayed three because it was so lovely.

As much as I would like to love this park, I just can't feel it. Staff wasn't very friendly/helpful while checking in. Trying to maneuver around the cabins & vehicles in the narrow road was changeling. The sites are concrete pads, long but narrow, you are so close to your neighbors. You get a little 5' strip of grass with a picnic table and a fire ring so close to the road it is basically unusable. Would have been nice if the grass/weeds on the utility side had been mowed. It's only for 2 nights, but can't recommend and won't stay here again. We camped at Teton Valley Resort in a Motorhome.

THE GOOD
Staff: Amazing staff! Very nice and accommodating.
Location: The area is in peaceful farm country, which is typically our preference.
Really quiet family campground.
Store: Has a small store with mainly gifts.
Food on-site: Restaurant on-site with a modern menu. Also offers full cafe for espresso drinkers.
Local: Small market with everything you can possibly need is less than a mile away. Gas is 1 mile (diesel and regular gas). Restaurants also in town.
Local: Another small town with slightly more restaurants (Driggs) is only 10 min away.
Sites: Unrelated to RV/Trailer sites, there are LOTS of really nice looking cabins, They seem quite large and are decorated with lights on the outside. It really impacts the vibe in a good way.
Wifi: The campground wifi must be all fixed (compared to other reviews) because it was great for working furing the week. As usual, there is always a slow down on campground-offered wifi from 4:30pm - 8pm ish.
COULD BE BETTER:
Sites: We had a back-in. Spacious, but are all-gravel sites. So not the prettiest. But, it works. Just highly over-priced (the resort fee boosts the cost) for what you get (regarding the site).
WORTH NOTING (not good or bad thing)
Fee: There is a fairly significant resort fee that increases the nightly rate from what you see online when starting to book.
Sites: Construction is happening right behind the back-in sites. It is loud during the weekdays so tough during work and such.
Construction: Once it is all done (1+ years as we are told), all of the sites will be really nice with grass and landscaping.

Currently, if you go on Teton Valley’s website it’s likely you won’t even realize they have a campground. Don’t ask me why…but they DO! And it’s pretty freakin amazing. Just call the front desk to make a reservation. It’s easy peasy. The staff is super nice and responsive. The location is surrounded by mountains and just a few minutes from downtown Victor. There is an awesome restaurant AT THE CAMPGROUND called Wanderlust with delicious food. It’s kind of a baby market too with fancy picnic supplies, craft beer, cocktails and wine. Above the restaurant is a lounge area where guests can take their food and relax, do a bit of work, play a game…whatever. The hot tub is huge, hot and bubbly as all good hot tubs should be…and open until 8pm daily. The bathrooms are private, modern and well appointed with hot water and good shower pressure. Laundry is clean and adequate. The pool was closed…because winter. They have a SPA! We didn’t partake but seriously how cool is that?! If you’re into fitness, grab yourself a monthly open gym membership at Wright Training (.25 miles away) and if you need to work check out Work Farm co-working space just a couple minutes away. The only reason we aren’t giving this place 5 stars is because when we arrived our site wasn’t plowed so they moved us to another site. This new site ended up having frozen water pipes and the maintenance guy couldn’t find the sewer buried under the snow. So we ended up having to take all our skirts off and move one site over again the next day in freezing cold temps. If the staff would have had our site ready to go, this would have been 5 stars all day. If you’re arriving during the winter, maybe just call ahead and confirm they’ve prepared your site to give them a friendly nudge. However, we will go back in a heartbeat! It’s a fantastic location to access Targhee, Jackson Hole and so much other outdoor goodness while having hotel-like amenities!

Site dimensions inaccurate: #136 - 58’ deep but really only 45’. #107 - 51’ deep but really 45’
No park entrance road signs!
Utilities located at front of back in sites making need for unusually long electric cord. Also results in sewer located in picnic area.
No signs of any site maintenance.
Lots of road noise and adjacent rock processing business.
If not for the location, this would be a good park to avoid.

The photo that Campendium is showing is 100% deceiving
CRAMPED, CROWDED and the sites are nasty. There is a rule that you can’t but a mat outside as it will ruin the grass!! HA! The “grass” is nothing but weeds. Your picnic table has many coats is dried dead paint all chipping off. I would never sit on it. Splintersville for sure. 10 feet between you and the rug next door. From the street it looks great but looks are very deceiving. I wish I had never made a reservation. Office staff friendly but incompetent. It appears that they are making overnight cabins and squeezing them in everywhere. This place will also nickel and dime you, $10 rental fee for a fire ring. WIFI so slow you are better off using cellular data. Sites are gravel and you might drag the tail end of your rig. My tow vehicle and trailer are 40 feet , I barely fit in a pull thru site. Will never stay here again. They have a rule that you must turn off your outside lights by 10 pm, good thing as you are so close to your neighbors that the light would be in your face all night. Not for me. My mistake for staying here. Your neighbor’s sewage drain is so close to your picnic table that you will trip over it.

No one paid attention to the 1 way direction in the RV loop, but that helped with our departure as we’re over 60’ and turning out of our pull through would have been difficult with our toad attached.
Fantastic views, very friendly staff, 24hour business center with great WiFi. 2nd entrance to RV loop was very appreciated.
This place is changing, they’re definitely taking the “cabin” approach and as it is, won’t have too many RV spots... perhaps they’ll make another RV loop in the future where the cabins are temporarily staged until the find their permanent home in a former RV loop (hence the under construction title)
All in all, would stay here again, actually tried to add a couple days to our stay, but they were fully booked.
Hard left turn at stop sigh for checkin was a bit obscure, but manageable.

We had just completed a week of primitive camping in the Tetons and were looking to clean up and do laundry and re supply with groceries and reconnect with WiFi and phone. We loved the town of Victor, the Wildlife pizza was incredibly good! Grand Teton brewery has good beer and fabulous views. Can’t remember the name of the soda fountain in town but the Huckleberry shakes were fantastic and they also had lovely Teton Valley logo T-shirt’s and hats.
The Resort has gravel sites which were fine. The WiFi was pretty bad so don’t count on reliable service. The laundry room is open 24 hours and the dryers were hot and fast. They even provide an iron if you wish. The pool and spa were lovely and open even though it was mid October Yay. Everything was clean and pretty and the staff were lovely and enthusiastic about the area and their RV and cabin resort. Loved the town of Driggs and the grocery store there. This resort was the perfect reset after real camping. Great water pressure :)

Also there is a restaurant that does take out (pre-ordered). We were too late to order it. We got take out at Wildlife Brewing - great pizza, large is huge.
Wifi was horrible. We used our cellular instead. Verizon was good.

I have not stayed here but in researching I have learned the name/website name have changed. It is now www.tetonvalleyresort.com. The rate being quoted for a full hookup RV pull through site is $75 + tax for one night.
noted 3/1/2020
We have stayed there for the last 2 summers for a total of about 40 days. We hare headed there again this summer of 2020. They informed me that all the RV sites with grass were being converted into cabins. The only rv sites available would be on the gravel sites on the south and southwest sections of the park. I pull a 37' 5th wheel with a 14' utility trailer behind the 5th wheel and they have always accommodated us. It is still a great place to stay.
