We arrived after a very long day of travel had reservations for a long weekend. Wanted someplace quiet and nice just to relax. We arrived after a very long day of travel had reservations for a long weekend. Wanted someplace quiet and nice just to relax. Turns out it was more of a live in campground what spots were available was not appealing, nor welcoming. I would say this is strictly for people working in the area to live there. Not for someone wanting to camp with their RV however, the office was very nice and the pool looked very nice and clean.

You will want to stay in front of the campground by the pool and office. There were orders (probably sewer) in the back and the residents who live there full-time were not very tidy. You will want to stay in front of the campground by the pool and office. There were orders (probably sewer) in the back and the residents who live there full-time were not very tidy. It had a trailer park vibe that we weren't used to. I can't say I would return after the initial impression. There were some nice sites that aren't full hookup in the middle. The office is nice and the manager was polite.

Overall Rating
Stayed here while working at Calvert cliffs nuclear plant. It was a good time staying here and was very peaceful. I cannot say enough about how helpful John and the rest of the staff is. Plenty of shopping close by and is in a beautiful part of Maryland.
Laundry facilities were always clean and the campground itself is well kept.
