A few details you should know before booking at this place. First, the app you’re required to use is wonky and makes available for your selection sites that have previously been booked so you may be required to move, like us. We had no sooner disconnected and leveled out and were asked to pick a different site. Second, this place advertises $22 a night and a “small fee.” In reality, the price is $25 per site … but they also tack on a 20% “service fee” so, in total, you’re really paying $32.72 with tax … or 45% more than advertised on their website which wouldn’t be so bad if they were honest and upfront about all of it. Plus it’s miles away from the closest attraction and there’s not much in Blanding. I thought there’d be a benefit to boondocking on private property, but clearly I was mistaken. Our stay wasn’t even quiet (generators). I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a campground (with no services) for that price that, again, requires you to haul in your own water, doesn’t have a dump station or shore power AND charges you a separate service fee like an AirBnB. Next time I’d opt for either Mule Canyon dispersed ($15) or Comb Wash Campground ($0) or even the Blanding Gravel Pit Dispersed ($0) all nearby, closer to everything in the area and more level while offering the same “service” at a fair price.

Nice clean and quiet place.
Took an ‘unauthorized’ hike directly from the campground across the Westwater Creek and 2 miles along the west side of the canyon. Amazed by the amount of cans and glassware in the area. Shooting practice???
Krautwald_Strib would stay here again
