“Dump & freshwater fill only”

I called around to several places in the area and only Groves allowed outside users to use their dump station and refill freshwater. It cost $10. The station is on the side of the building the office is in. The station area is wide open and in my class B I didn’t have issues maneuvering around. Thanks to Groves for providing this ... more

We had a pleasant stay at this RV Park. The park is older, so it has the narrow streets you would expect. Our neighbor kindly moved their truck to allow us to back-in to our "super" site. The site was huge and all concrete which was very pleasant. The site was level and all utilities worked as they should and were in easy to hook-up locations.
The free wi-fi from the park is worthless. We paid $15 a week for a modem from the park which worked great and was well worth the $30.
The pool and hot tub were very nice, clean and looked recently updated. The restrooms and showers were also in an older building, but were very updated, beautiful and very clean.
Check-in was easy and office support was helpful and friendly.
The park is mostly park models with RV sites mixed in. All of the residents were very friendly and welcoming.
The location of this park is wonderful. It's convenient to the highway, yet far enough away that it's quiet. There was absolutely no road noise and it was pleasantly quiet.
The location to Ft. Myers Beach, Sanibel Island and Captive is great! Only about 10-15 minute drive...be aware that there is always traffic getting in to Ft. Myers Beach.
The park is located in a neighborhood with many high-end, gated communities and some older RV parks. We like to do a long walk in the morning and there were wonderful neighborhoods to get our steps in.
There are great grocery stores nearby as well.
We would definitely stay here again if visiting this area.

The campground on Sanibel island doesn't allow pets. The bathrooms and showers are immaculate and the pool and hot tub are lovely. We were definitely the youngest people here as many of the sites are permanent trailers that seniors live in full time. The people were super friendly and welcoming and all invited us to join them for cocktails or to chat during the day. A good place to stay for a day or two while you explore Sanibel or st Myers beaches for sure! We'd come back.

The majority of the community is manufactured homes and most of the rigs that stay are larger - fifth wheels and class A's. We definitely stand out with our little tin can. Jeff, one of the friendly staff people, is incredibly helpful and will remember you by name! The amenities offer all the comforts of home. The bathrooms were remodeled in late 2014 and are absolutely fabulous. There is a pool, shuffleboard, pickle ball, community room, game room, laundry. Wifi works best when near the main buildings; won't broadcast to your site. Groves is not far from Sanibel and Ft Myers Beach. A Publix is across the street and a Dunkin Donuts a few miles down the road.
