What an excellent stay! This campground was quiet, and the spot we had was right on the lake. We went late in the season and there were only a few campers during the week, but it was busy on the weekend. The sites are very open and flat but they are spaced out enough to not feel like your privacy is invaded.

I would definitely stay here again. The sites are large and well spaced out. Bathrooms were clean and the park was close to the town. Well worth the stay

Full hook up sites were closed except for the camp host, as the grassy area around them was flooded. Gravel pads, nicecand long, fairly level. Dump station located next to restrooms. About half the sites were occupied. Not much privacy between sites but they are fairly well spaced. Lake was above normal, as they advertise a beach but lake came right up to the sidewalk. Wonderful children’s playground for the kids on a drier day. Had an awesome meal at Dempsey’s brew pub, lots of families there for the terrific pizza and I would highly recommend the fried garlic cheese curds and the spinach artichoke dip. And the root beer.

Sites (many with lake views) are spacious and very reasonably priced ($22 for electric/water and $30 for full hookup). I think the time of year we stayed (mid week in mid May) made it peaceful and that a weekend in the summer might be a different experience. Bathroom was very clean. Didn’t use the shower but were warned by the host that the hot/cold faucets were backwards. Only complaint was no recycling bins.

Arrived for an overnight stay. We chose full hookups for $30/night instead of E & W for $22/night. Beautifully kept and clean. Restrooms were spotless as were the fire rings and the rest of the campground. Right next to the beautiful lake with lots for kids to do. Truly an enjoyable stay.

This was just a stop over spot for us, and when we arrived the campground said full, even though it was obvious the right side was completely empty. Luckily the host came out as we were trying to determine where to go next and allowed us to camp on the right side of the park since we were only staying one night (they were setting up for a big BBQ festival the next day). The campground is right on the lake, which has a walkway, swimming access and multiple playgrounds. It is right next to the Veterans’ Memorial that has a Bell Cobra helicopter displayed (VERY exciting for our young helicopter enthusiasts).
The left side of the campground (that was full) had much more mature trees and is where I would prefer to be if I was going to stay again or for a longer period of time. The right side is more of a field with smaller trees and less privacy. Nice flat gravel back in sites. Bathrooms and showers are very nice and clean. Sites had water and electric hook ups.
