Good flat, clean sites but no privacy and a lot of road noise. This is a good place to stop for a rest but not if you’re looking for a more scenic experience. Great mobile service too.

Glad I was in an RV! The freeway noise would otherwise be bothersome. Great pull through site. Wish we had a kayak with being surrounded by these large ponds. Or had brought our bikes to ride all these paths. Next time.

Decent campsite facilities and in a convenient location, but way too close to very noisy I-25. This location is OK for an overnight while traveling through the area but why anyone would spend more than an overnight here is beyond me.
Cell service (VZ and ATT) were quite good.

Stayed here for about a week in July 2019. The bugs were bad near the lake so bring bug spray. Lots of really nice walking trails for me and my dog and lots of places to put in if you have a paddleboard or kayak. One night there was a crazy wind storm that snapped 4 trees in half in a cottonwood grove near my campsite, so just be aware that wind can get bad in this area.
Scenery is really nice and connectivity is great. Probably the best dump station I've been to yet - clean, easy access, potable water.
The main drawback to this park is the highway noise. You're just off I-25, the main north-south interstate highway, so there's always traffic going by and there's always noise. I couldn't hear it if I was in my camper with the fan on, but if road noise bothers you just be aware going in that it's an issue.
Otherwise, sites are well-spaced, and there are lots of sites here that have waterfront views due to the sheer number of ponds in this park. Really very pretty. Sites are all level and have a shaded picnic table too.

We enjoyed our stay at this state park. The sites were very level and the staff was very diligent in keeping the sites very clean. AT&T was super fast at 80Mbps DL/20 Mbps UL using a mobile router with no booster.

Right next to Interstate so would recommend only if you want that convenience ('cause it's noisy). Lots of rules and lots of bugs. Amenities don't match the price (coin op showers? c'mon). Wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Campsite 30 only has electric but does have water available at pump on each end of loop. Very lovely area with plenty of trails around ponds. Several bathrooms scattered about & 1 very nice bathroom/shower facility. Showers are pay but not expensive & great hot water & pressure. Lots of birds & although we didn’t fish the ponds seem to be great for it. The only drawback was the interstate noise. We could drown it out with our fan or music but at times it was very loud. Park is close to plenty of shopping & the lovely town of Longmont. Overall this park is beautiful & well cared for. A gem in the middle of a fast growing area.

We stayed here for 2 nights to see a car show in Westminster and while exploring the Rocky Mountain National park.
The site we chose was a back in overlooking one of the many ponds in the park that was electric only, there is a dump station and potable water on site. The site was clean and level. The Ranger staff were friendly and helpful. there was a lot of road noise from the adjacent Interstate (I-25).
We would stay here again, but only if we needed to stay in the area as the cost is high.

We chose this park because it was conveniently located on our route ( final destination Glacier NP) from TX to CO. The park was well maintained, there were hosts for the different areas and in all did a great job of keeping the sites clean.
We stayed on site 032 which was a pull thru and it was spacious enough for our 40’ 5th Wheel. The site did not have water or electricity but we had done our research and were prepared. There were other areas around that had full hook ups, but were full when we visited. A water spigot was close to our campsite which was convenient and a dump station is located as you leave the park. The restrooms were super clean, spacious and had hot water, just make sure you have change as you need to pay fo your shower.
The views of the park were spectacular and even though it’s located Off the hwy, it has a very nice secluded vibe and the noise win’t be a problem.

Class A Diesel and the full hook-up RV sites were $41 (note - you do have to pay an $8 per day Colorado State Park vehicle fee. If you have a toad it is only one $8 fee, but if you drive the RV and the car in separate you have to pay for each vehicle/day). The price is a little high, but the campsites were nicely located near the water and had concrete pads. Each site has a fire pit and a covered picnic table. Beautiful views. Great experience!
