Only one other campsite occupied by what looked like a commercial “hotshot” freight hauler by the look of his second pickup truck connected to a gooseneck flatbed trailer. These little community based CGs have become my favorite alternatives to boondocking when crossing the midwest. Stay off the interstates, see some of the best people and places our USA has to offer and support these small towns. No mud, grass pull-through sites although not very long if you are towing a big 5th wheel or Class A with toad. Lots of space to run the dog although the rules state leashes only. Next to a High School so potentially noisy during school season or during events within the park. Very relaxing stay.

A quiet, well maintained city park campground with electricity ($25 per night) or without electricity ($15 per night). While water is not located at each site, there are several hydrants spread across the campground. There are no sewer hookups within the campground. However, there is a dump station that is located behind the shower house (donation requested). The shower house and bathroom are very clean. Decent Wi-Fi is also available at this site. This campground is located in the Springview sports complex. So basketball courts, a baseball field, picnic area and a sand green golf course are nearby. The town of Springview also has a grocery store and at least one restaurant, the Cattlemen's Lounge.

This is a cute little gem in north-central Nebraska. Most of the spots have full-size, mature trees that will block the sun during the afternoon. The grass is watered and mowed regularly. There are hydrants nearby that seem to be positioned primarily for watering the grass; however, one could hook up or carry water in a container. The short dirt roads coming in were just fine. This is part of a recreation complex/area, but the basketball court, tennis court, and volleyball pit have seen better days. It looks like the campground, golfing club, and ball fields get the most love. The WiFi was quite usable. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

A great little city park with 6 grassy/level sites that offer 30 AMP electric, $15 for an electric site or dry camp for $10 a night, self pay station, includes picnic table, drinking water is available for filling containers or RV tanks. Sites are rather close together but we were the only ones in the campground both week nights we stayed. Some sites offer good shade and plenty of room for our 22' travel trailer. Clean bathrooms with flush toilets and a large clean shower (takes quarters.) There was a bit of traffic since it is a city park with local activities including a small golf course and clubhouse. The park is well kept and clean, city workers mowed and collected the fee $ at the self pay station daily. The evenings were very quiet. A donation is requested at the dump station which is behind the bathroom/shower house. Outstanding Verizon signal!
A nice place to layover and explore the Sandhills of Nebraska.
