I didn’t make it to the sites. After about a 40 minute drive on an unpaved road I had to turn around because the road got worse and I was afraid of breaking down. I drive a jeep so I didn’t think I would have trouble but I am unsure how others were able to make it on this road. Besides the potholes, the road became incredibly narrow at points. After finding another spot and looking at the map I didn’t see any other road that could be used to access this spot. If you’re going to venture to this site definitely give yourself plenty of daylight to get there safely.

Scouted here to check whether we wanted to move our 24 ft TT from nearby Lily Bay SP. First thing we saw was a large political flag with an obscene slogan flying above a sign with instructions to check in with camp hosts. Ugh. About 6 other campers there, most with cluttered sites and appeared to have been there for more than the 2 week limit. The 38 sites are numbered, in mostly open space, and lined with large rocks around the sides. A few sites are right on the lake shore. No privacy between sites. Google satellite view gives a clear picture. The road here is pretty far down logging roads, far from any hiking or other activities, so this would mainly appeal to folks who are boating and fishing. Even then, it's pretty sketchy.
