This was a great place to camp. Two bubbling brooks ran through our site. The vault toilets were clean and stocked with tp. Everything was shipshape even though heavily used.
Two loops. The upper loop is nearly all reserved. The lower loop first come. It's located about a mile off the highway on a good gravel road.

Nice FS campground with many sites along the creek which was the ultimate ‘sound machine’. Very clean toilets. 20 large sites in two loops. Hand public water. The best part here is the forest service roads all around. There are awesome sights to be seen, especially if you have an ORV. Beautiful backcountry lakes, wildlife, etc.
Kennedy Peak is an 11,000 foot bald with unbelievable views. The 10+ mile road up is rough though. We were on a motorcycle, so no big deal, but the trees down would be an issue for larger vehicles. No ATT service. Water does not have threaded connector.

Scouted this one while staying in the area. This is an old-school Forest Service campground that could use some TLC. Bring your leveling blocks. 1 or 2 sites could fit a 25' trailer, mostly this is a spot for tents and short trailers. Access road is decent gravel/dirt. Hand-pump for water.
