“Best on weekdays when motor boat traffic is minimal”

Campground is small and well maintained, all sites have partial shade.
Pros; beautiful lake with a good variety of birds. kayaking/sup-ing into the cove is lovely and exploring up and down the relatively narrow waterway is fun.....when there are no jetskis, motor boats or waterskiers out... so early morning on weekends and early in the day on weekdays. Stars at night lovely.
Cons: generation station, just up from campground creates a loud humm 24/7. Only way to get away from the noise is to kayak away from the station around a bend towards the dam. Jet ski noise ruins otherwise peacefull environment. Hiking trail is underwater during high lake levels.
