Beautiful camp. Although recreation resource management of America charges to much. They appeared to have cut mature aspen for wood stains they were hazard trees. BS. We are also sick of cows and sheep in the forest and especially the wilderness. Get them out!!!

No AT&T cell coverage.

Looking to get away from crowds? Silver Jack may be your answer. I can get a little nervous about first-come, first-serve campgrounds over holidays, but there was no reason to worry at this campground, even on the 4th of July there were still spots available.
Pros: the campground is very well maintained, many of the sites are surrounded by a thick aspen forest that provides privacy, there are plenty of trails to hike/cycle/ATV in the area, Silver Jack reservoir is just a couple miles down the road for fishing/paddling.
Cons: zero cell coverage, long bumpy road on the approach, over an hour if you need to do laundry/re-stock supplies.
The previous review by Sanjuan lady is spot on for the description of the road. It is completely accessible with any vehicle, just takes some patience.

The lower loop of the campground was nice with water, clean outhouses, and good roads. The upper loops had crumbling roads and pads.
Very few people there even on Saturday of Labor Day weekend.
