“One of the historic campgrounds on the original Alaskan Highway.”

This is one of the original campgrounds on the original historic Alaskan Highway it's been in the milepost book since 1949.

this is the year that the actual Road was opened is down in the bottom it's in the valley by the river it's very remote they don't even have Grid electricity here they have a generator that runs full-time to provide power to the powered sites.

you do have several classific classifications of sites you have the no service sites there's a couple of those by the river here which is pretty nice but you're also closer to the highway and there's some sites on the river that are powered 30 amp power there's a separate shower bathroom area the showers used to be free now they're one Looney for 3 minutes.

The full hook sites are 50 night
Elec is 40
Boondocking is 30. But u can dump and fill. (If heading west the info center at ft. Nelson has dump and water fill to the west on gravel roads. Look for sigh at entrance. )

they tthere's some cabins on the grounds it's not a KOA but then it's not boondocking but it's kind of in between the two the folks that run under extremely nice couple of guys have been living in the area for quite a number of years. There is playground equipment for kids to play on it's a little gazebo type house down on one end that you could use for picnics and stuff I didn't walk to the back of the property and it is some sites back there.

I've included some photos of the campground layout and some other interesting items there's no real cell service here they do have a starlink system and some Wi-Fi and they're working on getting it so the Wi-Fi is more readily available right now it's just at the office when you first drive in by the gas pumps which may aor may not have gas. they don't have any gas currently but they may have some gas during the season so I would not count on this as a stop for gas no diesel though so there's that oh no it's a great little spot you like to just hang out for a while and live in some history

The road noise calms down at night to almost nothing.
