Next morning we were covered in bugs!!! Took hours to get them out of rig and trailer after leaving. Didn't bite but we were covered in bugs. No amenities used as we stayed on the beach. Rig is too big to try and get close to toilets.

We stayed here one night while traveling through. We turned off 93 onto one of the BLM dirt roads (like the second one on the left heading north past the state line) and headed towards the southern end of the reservoir. Just camped out on BLM land. Beautiful out there. Only saw 1 other car. All dry camping.

Quiet. As others have stated if you are to park by the toilets up on the hill, be careful as there is not much room to turn around for trailers. We have a truck camper which was fine. Boaters were around down by the water but they were not a problem.

Stayed here one night at the beginning of March. The sand by the lake was really wet so I drove back up and stayed at the clearing near the turn off. Great cell service there!

Lots of boaters use the area and aren't the cleanest. We did our best to clean the site before we left hopefully it stays clean for a bit. We stayed one night on 6/20/20. Easy drive with a car or truck into the camping spot. We had it all to ourselves and enjoyed hiking around. On the bluffs we had cell coverage but not in camp.

We stayed at this site on 5/26/19 and had a great experience! Very private with with great views of the water. Road was washboard but OK for our SUV and 22' trailer. Head toward the boat launch site and then just before the launch area, head left and then up the steep and rough gravel road toward the toilet. Keep going past the toilet to the end of the gravel road where there are two spots with picnic tables and fire rings. There is however only room for one trailer, and you will have to back out. We were able to back up to the gravel area in front of the toilet and turn around there with some jockeying so that we could drive forward down the steep incline.
Highly recommended for the remote nature and views, however, make sure to walk the area before heading in due to the confined nature of the space so you can make sure you can get out. Also be wary of the flies from the pit toilet! We were there during the week and had only minor traffic due to the boat launch, but it could be different on the weekend.

“Be cautious”

Gravel road in is ok. Quite a bit of washboard. The last 1/2 mile is deep ruts and room for 1 vehicle width!
If you take the left up to the toilet BEWARE as there is virtually no turnaround
ALSO, THIS is a picnic stop.

This campsite was established BLM land. It was nice with a bathroom, picnic tables, grill, and fire pit. There was an amazing view of the reservoir and good for swimming! And it didn’t cost anything!

We arrived late at night and followed the road to the pin at lakes edge. It was sandy and not at all level so we went back to an earlier fork in the road and found a turn out by the fence. I think this road also went down to the lake but we didn't check it out. This place was really busy in the morning with several people driving by us to boat/fish on the lake.
