Ruben's Camp

This place has to be one of the worst places to stay in San Felipe, at least during October to April. The boats that are launched daily and during the night for illegal shrimp and Totoaba fishing make it very hard for a person to get a good nights rest. Their dogs bark at all hours. The trucks have loud mufflers and the constant high revving engines when they are unloading or loading the boats at the water is very irritating. They will run air compressors to fill up the truck tires or test run their outboard engines at any hour. And when they're not doing anything illegal there are parties with loud music going on. The activity at Ruben’s Camp also affects the Rv’ers staying at KIKI’s Camp. It’s just not worth your time or money to stay at either one. But don’t take my word for it, go stay a few nights.

One of several RV/camping parks along the San Felipe Bay. Owner, Aaron, speaks English and very nice. Every spot has a palapa and some have beach view. Nice uncrowded beach (at least in January). Restaurant on site for tenants only. Bathroom/shower facilities. Convenient to downtown San Felipe (walking distance.) 300 mxn/night/person depending on # of days you stay. I stayed here in a tent but mostly RVs & trailers. All hook-ups including wi-fi.
