Road Runner RV Park, is an excellent location for visiting LBJ State and National Park and Sauer Beckman living history Park, as well as the wine trail. The park itself is clean, and well maintained. Management/Staff very friendly and helpful. The free Wi-Fi is really satisfactory for email, but I did upgrade to premium to allow for viewing of premium channels, at a cost of $5.00 a day. Within walking distance, you will find a Lowes Super Market/Ace Hardware, Dollar General, Subway, Medical Clinic, and a Phillips 66 gas station that also has EV charging stations. Across the highway is an excellent Mexican restaurant, Propane store and the Johnson City Law Enforcement Station. Really a great place to stay and given all nearby facilities and access to Johnson City and nearby attractions, I don’t believe you can find a better location in this area.

We have stayed at this location twice now. This last time we stayed seven days—first time was a three day stay. Both times were awesome experiences! Everything was very clean and quiet, despite being in the middle of town along the highway. The park is centrally located in the heart of Texas, offering an easy drive to Austin, San Antonio, and Fredericksburg. There is a grocery store located next door with everything that you may have forgot at home. There are restrooms, showers, and a laundry if needed. Staff have been very friendly and helpful during both stays—Mark and Danielle are awesome!!! They do offer Sam’s Club and AAA discounts. I am sure we will be back.

Small older RV park but clean and well kept up. Lots of permanent residents but it’s kept up well. Some road noise, on Saturday night live music somewhere nearby and bright lights from the strip mall next door. Easy in and out for our 40 foot fifth wheel and lots of level pull through sites. Utilities are a bit awkward as the neighbor’s sewer sun is right in front of my door. Also a few low hanging branches as you drive through so keep an eye out. Super slow WiFi. Overall a nice little park but I feel a bit overpriced.

The park itself doesn’t offer a lot, but theirs plenty to do in the area. Restroom with showers and one each washer and dryer. All sites are pull thru except for the seasonal’s. I paid $31 with my Good Sams club for a 30a site with water and sewer. I believe she told me it was $41 with my discount for a 50a. I gave them a only because it’s right next to the hwy which made it a little noisy.
