Overall Rating

Very friendly over the phone sites were very spacious and neighbors kept to themselves very quiet, a bit of road noise but slept well you could tell was a work in progress but well worth it to have a nice quiet clean place to park for the night!

Overall Rating

{Dates Stayed: June 7-10, 2024} Another RV Park taken over by a new owner within a couple of years. Lots of improvements were noted already, however the new utilities (sewer in particular) are too high so the site pads will need to be built up a bit to accommodate for the sewer drain. And building up the sites (desire concrete) would mitigate any flooding that has occurred in the past. Sites were spacious and a few more are planned. More aggregate is being planned for the drives as well as the sites. Improved walking trail along the South Platte river is also in the works. New trees were planted but will take some time to mature for any shade. The Laundry & Restrooms-Shower Building is under renovation. The old grain elevator has historical significance and has potential for the camp to capitalize on. Sterling offers good provisioning with Walmart & local hardware stores. Good resting spot when exiting or entering Colorado on I-76.
