Another great campsite at Canyon Ferry. Level spots that are spaced out. Many on the river. Concrete launch ramp inside the CG. Nice picnic tables and fire pits. 25 minutes to Helena. Trout fishing. Mule deer. Clean vault toilets.

Stayed for 3 nights in June. Beware that you have to cross the dam if coming from the west but I believe there’s another route if you have a long rig. Internet was just ok. I was able to have virtual meetings but with some delay. Basic online work would sometimes come to a crawl but it was doable for a few days. This was on both Verizon and ATT.
No dump here, but there is water available.
Had a riverfront site and saw tons of deer. Sites are decent sized and spaced apart nicely. No hookups but full sun for solar

Really nice Bureau of Reclamation Campground about 20 miles east of Helena Montana. The campground sits along the Missouri River at the bottom of the Canyon Ferry Dam. Many sites along the river are pull through, some back in. All have concrete picnic tables and fire pit. No utilities, but there are multiple water spigots and spotless pit toilets. Sites were $15 night, or $7.50 with a National Parks senior pass. We had to make reservations through reservation.gov. We stayed in site 17 for 4 days. Best pull through site in the park! We then moved over to 22 along the river. Gorgeous sunsets. Great fishing and boat ramp and dock. Decent cell service with Sprint. Best part about this place is Bob the campground host. Nicest guy you'd ever meet, couldn't do enough for you, and keeps everything neat and tidy. Would absolutely stay here again if we find ourselves in the area
