Varying length sites from 70 to 15 feet and tent only sites, very wide, tons of room. All pads looked dead level (mine was under 1/4 inch left to right), all are easy back in. 30 or 50 amp at sites and water. A few dry, non electric sites as well. The website has accurate descriptions/pictures of each site, so make sure to look before booking. https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/233601
4 large handicap restrooms, with their own showers. Could use a little attention in cleanliness, but I am marking that up to the camp host was gone for the year when I stayed, sure during the times they are here, its spotless.
40 mins to walmart/big box in Salina, 20 mins to decent grocery and a hardware store in Lindsborg
FYI Venango Park is another Army Corps Campground just 2-3 miles away if Riverside is booked. Similar pricing and a lot of sites. Also Kansas State Parks has several campgrounds in that same 2-3 miles away with tons of sites.

$5 with access pass. Clean bathrooms with shower. Directions have you turn west to the state park. You should turn east to get to riverside park. I uploaded a map photo.

Campsite is outstanding and the volunteer hosts do a fantastic job keeping the campground clean and functioning. There is a lot to do in the surrounding area.

We drove through the 3 nearby campgrounds and we were so glad we had reserved this one. It's such a small gem and the hosts were wonderful. We drove through the 3 nearby campgrounds and we were so glad we had reserved this one. It's such a small gem and the hosts were wonderful. It was quiet and the bathrooms were large and pristine clean. Marquette is the closest town and has a great grocery store and gas. Lindsborg is 14 miles away but definitely worth the drive to visit Coronado Heights Castle, the Swedish Dal horse shop, the art galleries, and the Birger Sandze'n Memorial Art Gallery (on the Bethany College campus). There is a nice laundromat here and great lunch places too (Farley's and Ol Stuga).
The Buffalo Track Canyon Trail in the nearby Kanopolis State Park is a great hike through a mini-canyon.
We didn't have any TV, even with our booster, although our neighbors and the hosts were able to get a couple of channels. Our Verizon cell service was 4G 1bar and 3G 2bars without booster but 4G 3-4 bars and 3G 3-4 bars with the booster.
Our price reflects the senior discount.

Somewhat remote, 30 miles from Great Bend but worth the extra drive. Spacious, protected, water and electric with dump station. Beautiful cottonwood shade trees and Internet connectivity. Typical fees $12-$18/ night during high season (May to Sept) ~ Federal discount passes such as Golden Eagle, etc collect half this amount.
