Overall Rating
Sites are well spaced, some are level some are not. Sites are in woods, close to the Little Withlacoochee River, there is standing water scattered around the campground area, from river overflow. Road is sand and gravel, some potholes, but should be passable by most vehicles. The campground has little scenic value, but would be a good choice to be near places nearby for cycling, canoeing, kayaking, boating, hiking. There is an interesting hiking trail a short walk from the campground. Also a large lake which is scenic. I would think winter dry season is the time to go here, sites might be flooded in summer wet season.
