Redwood Bar Campground

This is part of a long stretch of river camping. If you are lucky enough to be there by yourself or few others around, it is beautiful. Right on the river, surrounded by trees.

The negatives of this place though are quite a few more than the positives. During the warm months it is absolutely packed. When we arrived there were no fewer than 50 RVs, nose to tail. People's stuff laid out everywhere and rafts in the river. The drive to the area is long and narrow. 13 miles took us longer than we expected. There is zero service out here as well. You are also camping on small to medium sized rocks, which is difficult to level.

We didn't end up staying because of how busy it was. Such a bummer because it was beautiful.
