Question about Rancho Sedona RV Park

Callie asked on 9/19/2022

Is it close enough to town to walk or do you need a toad for exploration?

The traffic there - in early October - was truly awful. If you like nature, this might not be the place. You need a vehicle to (try to) get away from the crowds. If you're there for the crowds, then the walk is reasonable enough, but it's still gonna be a bit of a walk.

The town is quite long but the area the area of restaurants and Sedona arts and crafts that we needed of was certainly walkable to.

We walked to the main part of town (shops and restaurants). The town is mostly pedestrian freindly.

It's very close. Less than 10 minutes to where shops and restaurants are.

Easy enough to walk to shops and restaurants in the "Y" section, mostly downhill. A bit further to the busier uptown area if you don't mind walking. Not worth taking a toad unless going to hiking trails and other areas. There are some trails up Schnebly Rd you can walk to if not hot.

Assuming you are in relatively decent shape, the walk to uptown is not bad. However, a car is helpful depending on where you want to go
