I was unable to find a picture of our specific campsite online before getting here, so I was disappointed to find that the camp area is on the off side for a back in trailer. The camp hosts were very friendly, and came around every morning to make sure the bathrooms were stocked with toilet paper. I'm not sure if it is only a problem mid July, but the mosquitos were absolutely horrible. I've never experienced mosquitoes like this. We were applying mosquito repellent almost every 15 minutes. We were trying natural bug spray, my homemade repellent lotion, deep woods off, citronella candles, the off incense spirals, and the flame free lantern thingy. Nothing even slightly deterred the mosquitoes. The mosquitos alone would keep us from returning.

We were a little apprehensive about the road leading to the campground because of all the negative reviews. Let me first say, I have pulled my 30’ Heartland on gravel roads that would make this gravel road look like an Interstate. I expected huge potholes and such. The road was basically washboard and if you drove slow, it was 1.5 miles of just slow driving that took about 7-10 minutes. When driving the gravel road without the TT we could easily drive 40 mph. The campground had dirt roads and the usual small mud holes but nothing too bad. The sites are treed and well spaced. We would definitely stay again.

Easy to find, road not bad. Close to lake, but campground itself is nothing but mosquitoes and dust. Would not recommend.

Seems to be a party campground. Large groups at various sites (exceeding both limit of 8 people and 2 cars), playing loud music - one right next to host site. Partying continuous well after 10pm.
Host does not enforce sound level rules or quiet hours (10pm-6am).
Electric hookup on many sites is behind curb barrier - at some sites as much as 12 feet.
Bathrooms are reasonably clean, but not well maintained. Out of hand sanitizer in at least two bathrooms.
Sites are reasonably level.

We chose this campground simply due to the way lower cost compared to places with FHU in W Yellowstone, our site had electric so 50 amp was enough for us to have an enjoyable time. We easily fit our 39’ toy hauler fifth wheel into the loop/site. We had a mixture of snow and rain which made for chilly nights and lots of snow or mud on the road in and out. The road that leads into the campground looks like it was recently leveled and new gravel added. After some wet weather the loop itself already had alot of pot holes and add in mud, made for good fourbying. But nothing I would ding them for, if you aren’t used to this camping..then why are you camping? Our sight was very spacious. They seemed to be doing to tree clearing too in spots.
My only negative was check in, no clear signage, no “obvious” sign for camp host, no one greeting us, so we ended up just going to our site and it worked out. Heads up no showers or dump station. Water fill up at entrance. Easy short drive to the entrance to Yellowstone, great Verizon service.

With the pine trees and distance between sites it felt like we had a lot of privacy from our neighbors. Walking distance to the lake and only about 20 min drive from the West Yellowstone entrance. We had an electric only site, which was a little more than the no hookup sites. The only downfall would be the rough washboard dirt road leading to the campground.

We came in looking to see if we could get an open spot and the roads were AWFUL. We were pulling a 29’ travel trailer and went through loops B and C. The size of the potholes were insane and they are everywhere! Coming in there are patches of asphalt that really need to be fixed. We found a couple of non-electric sites but really needed a site with hookups so we decided to head out and try our luck elsewhere. Not sure we would return even with a reservation. That said, the sites looked okay, and seemed level.
