We came out for a break. We live 1.5 hours away and didn’t want to drive hours for a short trip. We’ve been coming here for 25 years off and on and always enjoy it. We have 44’ motorhome and there’s plenty of good site that are easy to get in and out of. Walmart 20 minutes away and firewood for sale in Eustace. We stayed in a 30 a... more

We stayed in a 30 amp site. I don’t think they have 50 amp

We stayed here late February, 2022 for two nights. The nightly rate of $20 is for the campsite. Pros: nice long site (for us - many of the others closer to the lake were smaller), lots of long sites! Lots of really nice sites and many of them have very large areas for tents or hanging out. Loved the trail we did walk and loved walking the CG & by the lake. Greenery was nice and the foliage separating the sites nice.
Cons: cats meandering about. Not sure if they belonged to our neighbor (as one or two were there a lot) or not, as I saw one way on the other side of the CG. Which if you have a Labrador retriever can not be fun...
All in all a nice stop & we would stay here again (would love one of the lakeside sites!!).
Will upload our video on the campground, which has a lot more info.

Lots of space between campsites but really designed for smaller travel trailers or class C. Worked fine for our 20 footer. Showers and restrooms were clean. Good fishing! I caught black bass, channel catfish, and lots of crappies!

It’s hard to rate any of the Texas State Parks lower than a 5. This is no exception. Nice RV spots. Spaced well apart. Did some fishing and biking and caught a very tiny glimpse of NEOWISE. Get a spot that backs up to lake - obviously ;).
And for work on the roadies like me - an excellent choice. Good cell signal all over.

Great park with good road access and easy back in spaces. The park has lots of activities including hiking, fishing with rods for rent, swimming boating etc. Really enjoyed staying here and will definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

Nice TX State Park - private wooded sites with water and elec. (30 and 50 amp). Lots of activities including disc golf, geocaching, hiking, biking, boating... We were disappointed that all the park geocaches had been muggled-completely gone. Apparently and ongoing problem there. The TX State Parks are doing a Geocache Challenge, so this really messes it up. This was really the only issue we had with the park and would stay there again... and try again for those geocaches.

Nicely wooded paved camp sites. Some campsites are very close to the lake. The restrooms are well kept. At least 1 full time camp host at all times. Medium towns are within 20 miles, There is a separate day area that has a designated swimming area and lots of tables and fire pits.
I do not recall seeing any pull through sites.
