Absolutely the worse experience that I have had camping across 44 states and 6 provinces. Bait and switch on the site…no one at the office to check you in…after sitting in the heat for half an hour, I proceeded to the assigned site and hooked up. Later went to the office to let them know that I was in the assigned site. Was told that I had to move immediately because my site was changed, and they were putting someone else in that site who had “priority”. Since I had only put down a deposit, and had not paid the full period of the stay, that they could shift me to any site. Of course, they had not said that when I made the reservation nearly a month ago. To call this place a resort is clearly a farce. Half of the RVs in the park were older and appeared to be in some stage of disrepair. There appeared to be no amenities that would constitute a Resort. And the general appearance was poor to say the least. When rJourney texted me the receipt for the night that I did not stay at the RV park, this was my response to them, “You are welcome to my money for the absolutely worse experience that I have had in 7 years of camping throughout this country. I am a retired naval officer and a disabled veteran. I should expect nothing less than the bait and switch that I experienced at your campground. I don't want to believe that the fact that I am of African American descent had anything to do with it. Just saying! You are welcome to keep my money. I don't wish to stay at a place where, for no reason, other than the obvious, I am unwelcome. Unbelievable you even had the temerity to increase the cost for the one night that I did not stay. So be it. Even though I had previously stayed at you RV park, something must have clearly changed in the 2 years since my last stay. I will make sure to make note of the incident for future travelers.”

The most mismanaged and disgusting RV park I have ever stayed at. Nothing works. No wifi beyond 10 feet from the office. Advised we would be checking in late - was told that info would be left for us in their box by the office, it wasnt. All sites are supposed to have a picnic table - ours did not. No hot water in laundry or shower. Office closed on Sun and Monday - we checked in Sunday nite. No one around. They have a vending machine - one - and it is completely empty. Tried to engage management through phone and email over and over, no response. So I am filing a complaint with my credit card for services not provided as advertised and writing them this honest review. This place is disgusting and a complete rip off.

We have stayed at RV parks all over the country, rural, urban, value oriented to the high end. We have never been treated so unprofessionally. Carrie and Brad were both untruthful and not honest. The bathroom facility was a disgusting, smoke-filled and the toilet was dirty beyond description. They promised a refund and then went back on their word.

I booked a reservation in January of this year for May 8 - May 15. I received a confirmation email stating the nightly fee was $42 plus tax. When I went into the office to pay my bill I was rudely informed that the park had changed owners since January and the nightly fee was now $53 plus tax. I talked with both Kerry (account manager) and Brad (regional manager), explained the situation and showed them the email confirmation from January. They said since a deposit was not taken, that email was not legally binding, and I had to pay $53 a night. I explained further that no one from the RV park had communicated with me about this increase which fell on deaf ears.
The whole interaction was very confrontational and their attitude was they had me by the short hairs since there were no other options for a one week stay in the area. By far this is the poorest customer service I have received in three years of full timing.
Oh ... and the water and power hookup where on the wrong side of the trailer.

New Coporate owners in April 2022. We have stayed here for the last 10 years and loved it. The new owners have raised prices and reduced service. Wish we could find another place but there are none available close by.

The RV parking lot is a large lost covered with large rocks. The park does have long-term residents with older vehicles. The price for Denver is excellent. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. The park is quiet!!! Very peaceful to stay here. There is some distance road noise. The laundry room was fine. We did have to pull the front end first with class A then pull electricity and water under the RV, but the view toward the private residence was better. There is a trail leading from the park to a city park behind with a lake, children's playground equipment, a creek, and best of all a bicycle trail that goes all the way to Golden.

Nancy in the office is a sweetheart and very accommodating. Clean grounds. The restrooms are individual and makes it feel more homey. Very clean. You can also rent DVDs in the laundry room.
Site was rock, level and included a picnic table. Very close to trash dump. The park backs up to the Clear Creek Bike/Walking trail which was a wonderful escape. It is very accessible to Golden and Denver. 35 mins from the Denver airport.
The wifi was unreliable. Nothing really worked very well. Occasionally email would work on their wifi, but had to rely on hotspot for everything else. AT&T service was great.

That being said, the sites are flat and required no leveling. The park is kept extremely clean and the facilities are good. The thing that makes this place stand out is the service. The two women in the office were exceptional. We needed to stay here due to an emergency visit to the veterinary hospital around the corner. Both of them went out of their way to make certain that we were taken care of and were as concerned about our dog as we were. I have never had the personal service they provided at any RV park anywhere. Check in was simple; we arrived after hours and all the information that was needed was provided outside--including a key to a semi-private bathroom. It's a great location for accessing anything you'd need to do in Denver as well.
A speed test for our AT&T hotspot showed 92 mbps download and 32 mbps download.

We didnt even try the wifi as she said its not even strong enough to stream. One thing we did like was the semi private bathroom and shower. They have 8 individual full bathrooms and you get a key to just 1 of them. Neet idea and private so for bathroom I would give them 4 stars. Other than that as mentjoned only 1 night stay so cant rate too much.
