The sites are too close together, not enough privacy, not enough shade either.

Brand new playground equipment, golf cart rentals, kayak rentals and new pavement for entrance. They have remodeled cabins located on a lake. They have stocked private ponds, no license required. Patrolled regularly by the sheriff department and a state of the art security surveillance system. New WiFi system that works. Also live entertainment in Saturday’s in clubhouse.

The sites are cement pads and are level. Site 61 was the largest at 58 feet long and almost twice the width of the other sites. The campground is not right off the freeway but getting here was not difficult.
It was super quiet when we were there but I am sure it must be busy during the summer. The campground is very clean. We would definitely stay here again. They also have free wifi which was good.

The sunset over the fishing ponds is gorgeous, and the cart pathways through the park are a fun, quick ride. Make sure to grab a combo plate at their sister store/carniceria maybe two miles down the road. An extra order of gumbo made a perfect breakfast over grits on our departure morning.

The lots are level and right on the waters edge. The lots are really close together which makes for tight quarters. The main pond that most of the sites back up to is almost un-fishable due to the moss growth. WE were able to go right across the street and fish in the other pond and had good success.
We enjoyed ourselves and will go back in the fall.

The new owners are working to update the park and most of the roads have been redone. The laundry is good. I did not use the bath house. The wifi is not the greatest and we were close to the office. The campers are friendly and we enjoyed the free Cajun Music on Saturday night. We also enjoyed the great local restaurants, especially Poche's market. And, we loved the local music.

It’s just a tad out of the way, but far enough from roads for a very peaceful stay. Park was not full at our visit. Everything was very neat and clean. The only negative was their road in. It had some pot holes, but you could see they are trying hard to fill in. They don’t need speed bumps. 😆 Looks to be a great fishing spot. Wish would've had more time to try. This is an out of the way gem!

The site was full hook up and most of the sites including ours, were on the edge of a pond. We were close to the pool (too cool to pool during our stay) and bathroom/showers. There was free wifi, a small camp store, ice for sale and a nice laundry room. This was a peaceful, remote spot near the town of Breaux Bridge, LA. We were going to stay 4 days, but decided to make it 5.

Camped here several times always enjoyed the campground and area. If you're not familiar with LA. roads ... go slow! Interior roads are getting a little rough but were told they will be repaired.

We've stayed here twice, first in late December and once over Thanksgiving two years later.
It's a lovely park with sites around the small man-made lakes. Water fowl and turtles make for quiet entertainment. Our site was concrete and level with well placed utilities. Picnic tables on the water with some small trees. Open sky for our satellite. Not a lot of space between sites, but not horrible.
Interior roads are bad, even for Louisiana who has the worst roads in the country. Rough transition between road and site. Nice staff with easy check in and consistent maintenance of the grounds. There are a couple cabins and a community hall, a small pool, and laundry on site.
Park WiFi works better than most.
The RC airplanes and gun shots were louder and more annoying our second stay, but not too bad. It's just so pretty here that having outside noise takes away from the peace of the place.
Rate reflects one week stay with Passport America and Good Sam memberships. Owner is good about giving something for all of them.
Close to everything you need in Lafayette, but very rural setting.
