Only needed water and trash disposal. There is a dump station too. May camp there next time I come thru. Friendly and close to the campground I am camped at. I’m so glad that I have a military ID. The campground is clean and easy to find.

Located in Camp Navajo, Pine View is for military ID holders (active, retired, 100% disabled, etc.) just like all the related FamCamps throughout the country.
We stayed 3 nights here when our daughter had a soccer tournament at NAU but with the Overland Expo going on the same weekend, hotels prices were $250+ a night and all RV parks were full, including Fort Tuthill.
No reservations taken unless on active duty orders but nearby Tappen Springs (also in Camp Navajo) is dispersed dry camping and a good backup if Pine View is full.
Pine View is gravel and level back-in spots in a single loop of 13 spots with water and 20/30/50 electric. There are bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities as well as $5 dump and trash facilities.
Pilot travel center is on the same exit from I-40 and Flagstaff is 10 minutes east. Trains come frequently all day and night but their horns are not bothersome, but I did dock a star for it.
Not much to see or do on base (no Exchange but there is a chapel on base and war memorial to see). Campground hosts are super friendly too (May 2022). Weather was cold at night (38) and nice during the day (71). Fires are allowed but you must get a permit from the fire station on base. Check the website for all the rules and information regarding here and Tappen Springs or give the hosts a call!
Fantastic T-Mobile 5G service here (Mint Mobile). Only 5 OTA TV channels available but the inside loop has few trees to block satellite dishes or solar panels. Tappen Springs is $5 a night but is completely forested in if you need sky access. No generators at Pine View but unrestricted generator usage at Tappen Springs.
