The site says 50A hook up. Does Petersburg Campground also have 30A and 20A?

Beautiful Campground. Bathrooms could use an update. Could also use a few more throughout the park. Only one loop was open the others were all closed. I believe they were closed for updating. I could hear them felling trees. The men with us said the pressure and heat in the showers was great. The women said only the handicapped one was good in our loop (A). I used our shower in our camper. It had good pressure. We were on site 25 & 23. They were very nice sites with water & electric. Right on the water. We would stay here again.

I don’t think I have ever been to a campground where every site was large and on a lake. Other than the occasional boat flying by it is absolutely peaceful. We made it, but the next curve to back into the site was tight and ended up damaging our front bumper on the truck. This site would be better suited for 35 ft or less or a very skilled driver. TMobile and Verizon were both 25 mbs.

All in all a very enjoyable stay.

I was there in January so only sites 1-28 were open, but I walked around the closed loops, which had some spectacular sites. You will have access to free laundry, clean bathhouse, friendly staff and well maintained grounds. I could launch my kayak directly from my site, and paddle around a quiet inlet in calm water. I also camped at Watsadler and Twin Lakes, but Petersburg is a cut above.

Another awesome COE campground. Our site had a gentle slope to walk to the water/beach. The reservoir is down so there was lots of sand to take a walk (with the dog, who got to swim). Many loops close for winter, only A loop is year round now. We had our area to ourselves for a week, it was great. Several armadillo sightings including ... more

Really nice campground. Very roomy sites and quiet. We are able to receive AT&T (4G LTE), Verizon (4G LTE) and T-Mobile (5G on n71 band) with decent speeds on all three carriers. The view of the lake is amazing from almost any campsite.

We were lakeside as were most sites. The water level was extremely low but it was still beautiful. Clean bathhouse and site. Large campsite and far away from neighbors. Well thought out park.

The only reason it got a one was because that’s as low as it goes. The campground, site, swimming, play area, bathrooms was excellent. OUR PROBLEM STARTED AT CHECK IN. We arrived on June 4th to spend a week. The couple that works there was rude. We got to our site, we are senior citizens and it takes us about 2 hours to fully set up. We noticed the grill was rusted out, my husband went to report this and was told there was nothing they could do. Offered to move us. Not a option another 4 hours to take down and put up. Plus our children were staying 2 sites down. The lady was very rude. One of the amenities provided is a grill. They had no backup plan. The next morning on our way out, my niece asked about the grill, the lady, hollered at us, slammed and locked the window, and pulled the shade. We had to blow the horn , and the man was rude. While I was gone the Park Ranger and the maintenance team was able to fix our grill. A big shout out to the Core of Engineers for the help. Excellent people. On Tuesday there is no one at the gate, it’s closed. My grandson and family came of the day, the couple drive up and start harassing them as to why they don’t have a pass showing, Can’t get the pass if no one is working. These people have absolutely no customer service, I could understand a bad day, but this is the third time camping that we have had problems. Tip: Make some staff changes. My 1st review and last because we won’t go back.
