Overall Rating

This may at first appear to be a little too much with all the broken lite-up signs and giant Mexican statues, however, we found the RV Campground to be quiet and well kept. All sites have full hookups and are paved, with large grass areas between them. It's right off the Hwy, yet it was quiet at night and we felt safe.
Had dinner at the Sombreros restaurant/bar and it was very good and all the staff in campground, stores and restaurant were friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay again.

Overall Rating

We arrived a lil after midnight. The campground was closed for the night so we decided to go to this truck stop. It was pretty full but we pulled in the back, out of the truckers way, and parked for the night.
There are no hookups at Porkys, but you can buy a shower for $8. Bathrooms are decent. Plus South of the Border is a unique spot. It's like a lil town.
