Amenities were great, with 24 hour laundry, a nature trail along the riverbank, good wifi, clean bathhouses and a nice playground. Complementary coffee, juice and cereal each morning, with sausage and waffles for travelers on weekends. Pool was closed for winter but looked nice. A historic cemetery is on the premises.

We are a retired military traveling nurse family who have stayed at over 30 KOA's across the country so, we've seen the best and the worst. This is NOT a destination location but it's a great location right off the I-95 on the way to your destination. It's just an OK location for long-term travelers. There are cheaper locations but, we are KOA people.
Arrival - Room for maybe two rigs to register at a time. Super easy check-in, Ms. Dana is fantastic. The store and registration area is brand new as well.
Tips - Lots of construction on I-95 and the frontage road leading to the KOA. Construction within the KOA parking lot itself at the entrance that hasn't progressed over the month we have been on site.
Favorites - The people, Ms. Dana and Mr. Derrick are really nice to work with. Our family is here for about 13-weeks and they made us feel welcome from the start. Nice pool, well kept landscaping, nice nature trail along the river and swamp in the back of the property. Nice dog parks. Nice open sky over our site for Star Link
Negatives - No points earned for KOA members staying long term. We demonstrated brand loyalty by choosing the KOA but, there is no reciprocation. Long term sites leave something to be desired. I-95 noise is ever present. Only one trash location in a rather large park. Roads need serious attention within the park. Paying for electricity while already paying $850/month.

Notes: We stayed for a three day pause in our travels while waiting out foul weather to our north. Grocery and many other stores within 3 or 4 miles.

Driving south and needed a last minute place to stop for a few hours. Easy after hours check in, super clean, two small dog walks, and a nice nature walk through the woods to stretch our legs after many hours in the car.

Site was level and well laid out with small concrete island outside door with chairs. The campground is pretty quiet as most people are just using it to overnight on their way somewhere else. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. This is a Journey so it's pretty no frills but that is just how we like it. I hate paying so much more for a lot of frills that I don't want or need at many KOA's.
Cell strength was very good and the campground WiFi was better than most places. I would have given it 5 stars but like so many KOA's the sites are close with limited shade. Otherwise I couldn't find a single fault.

Nice place to take a break. Sites are typical RV park sites, not paved. Trees are on some sites. Small Fenced dog area, strict rules on pets. The best? The bath house is bomb! If you come be sure to check them out!

We booked this KOA as an overnight stop along I-95. Our pull-through site was level enough that we did not have to unhitch our truck, but we would have had just enough space if we had done so. The sites were close together; if we had neighbors, their hook-ups would have been right at our picnic table. There were two fenced Kamp K9 areas which is great for a RV park of this size. We did not use any of the facilities but we were given codes for the bathrooms, showers, and laundry. Though the Interstate is clearly visible, the noise wasn't too bad. Cell signals for both AT&T and Verizon were strong as well as the park's wifi. There are a few nice patio sites, but we would only justify paying for those if we were planning to stay for a longer period of time. We would stay here again.

The next morning I went to the office to complete our transaction and found the staff (new owners) to be kind and professional. We spoke about a number of the improvements they were making in the off season as they had recently bought the CG. Before I could get back to my site they found a pretty serious leak in the supply to the entire CG and had to shut down water before we could shower. Customer service was fantastic as they offered “compensation” making this inconvenience more palatable.
