I moved to site 20 from 16 and the service box seemed to be working. I plugged in and we went for a walk.
About 830 pm my AC stopped working. I wasn’t able to fix it.
Sent text to number listed.
No response
I paid for two nights but left the next day due to the condition of the rv park.
I sent an email describing my experience and asking for a refund. No response.
Ironically I received an email from them a say later thanking me for coming.

I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in site #21, a FHU site for $27/night. I booked this at the last minute because I left the prior campground a day early due to high winds predicted for that area. This campground sits right at the entrance to Palo Duro Canyon State Park which was my next destination. Unfortunately the state park had no sites available for that night. There was no one in the office and they didn’t answer the phone. I made my reservation online while I was sitting in the parking lot. It felt a little odd to me. The campground is essentially a large gravel lot and most sites have a little slope to them. It was easy to navigate and pull into the site. There is no shade available. I didn’t check any of the amenities since I was only going to be there one night. As others have said, the electric and sewer were on one end of the site and the water hookup was at the opposite end. There was no breaker on the electric box which would have been more concerning if I didn’t have a good surge protector. The water spigot leaked profusely so I hooked up to an open site next to me. Sites are very close together. I got 2 bars LTE with Verizon, moderate wifi connection and roughly 20 OTA channels. The cool thing was seeing several Aoudad goats munching grass at the edge of the park. It was convenient to the park, but I wouldn’t stay there again if I didn’t have to.

We tried to get into the campsites in the Canyon, but they were full. However, this park is JUST outside the gate of the state park plus we needed to dump, so the FHU site worked well for us. The sites, as others have said, are very close together and it is not a place you probably want to spend a lot of time at. However, it is so close to the park that you can do everything you wanted easily. Our 5G and 4G phones would not work, and we have very limited internet through the park's WiFi system. If you drive up to the office, you get great WiFi, so when we needed to do something on our phones or computer, we went up there as we were leaving the park.

Good alternative if the Park is full. Tight spaces with your front door step on someones utility hookups. However, if you hang out in front of your rig, sites 10 to 15 have an unobstructed view of the Canyon. Site 10 is the best as it is open on one side with a Juniper bush for shade.

Sites are all gravel. Not to level but doable with some extra blocking! Need at long water hose as it is at the front of the site, not the back where the electric and sewer are. Speaking of sewer, maybe extra 10' hose would be good for some of the sites... jus' sayin'!
All in all, a good "home base" to go and explore the State Park, which is just around the corner, with all it's trails and info centers!
Have a great time, we did!

We came in Sunday afternoon. Found our spot easily. Right outside the State Park, which we visited one evening. We didn't have problems with our hook up, but noticed a neighbor was given a hose to help connect. The description they listed is accurate (older park). We had good reception, which the husband needs for work. We left a night early because of 65plus bursts of wind. We would visit the park again but would definitely check the wind conditions before booking.
