Overall Rating
We spent the first night closer to the train tracks, it will rock your world at 2 am so we figured we needed to move. This Recreation Site is quite spacious with a lot of sites. We chose Site #1 and are thankful we did. It is right by a creek, so you hardly hear the train. Tons of space and we received solar power here. Most of the sites are hidden in the trees so you won't get any solar. We also received att cell service without a booster.
For the five nights we were here, there was only one or two other people that stopped by. The majority of the time we had it to ourselves :)
We did have a black bear visitor one afternoon. He was up the apple tree. Pretty big bear as well so remember bear spray!
It costs $13 Canadian a night, which is pretty much just for trash service (we think) but the trash wasn't emptied while we were there.
It takes 10 minutes to get to pemberton and 35 minutes to whistler. Great spot close to nairn falls and Joffre lakes which are both beautiful hikes! Definitely recommend!
