Large first-come first-serve CG just across the bridge from Snaring River CG. It has a loop to the right as you go in, which has sites among the trees. All the other loops are in the large, flat, central area, which has no trees. It's mainly a big weedy gravel lot with individual sites marked off. Very exposed, no screening from neighbors or anything. Not a characteristic that I prefer. However, it does provide great views of the mountains. Vault toilets, water. No fires. Railroad tracks very close so there may be noise from that, but not the train whistles. It's ok if you really need a place to stay and the nearby Snaring CG is full.

The campground is nothing special. Basically a parking lot with dumpsters. No campfires allowed. The views are amazing. The location is great for everything you'd want to see in Jasper. We got one bar of talk on AT&T first thing in th morning, but basically no cell service. For being in the park without reservations, this is a great option!
