We decided to stay here because we’ve seen this campground (CG) featured the last five year’s we’ve been on the road by CG review websites, travel forums, and big-name RV bloggers. So we thought we’d give Nugget a try. We followed our RV GPS to the CG that is near I-90, but far enough away that you don’t hear highway noise. There was another camper checking in when we arrived, but check-in was fairly quick and thorough. There was a sign about being a Good Sam Member and we had to ask to get the discount as that option was not available for the online reservation. We then had a very friendly escort to pull through site 63 with FHUs, which is supposedly a premium site. This gravel site has a little grass yard with a picnic table. The site is across from a community fire pit and couple of their little trail heads. When we were there in July, there was a fire ban so not having a site fire pit was no big deal. The utilities are nicely placed in the middle of the pad. Water pressure is good at about 50 psi. We got 2 to 3 bars on Verizon. As there are a lot of mature pine trees in this CG, satellite is iffy. Our campsite was at the north end of the CG facing the woods, so we used our Verizon MiFi versus Starlink. We probably could have gotten the Starlink to work if we put the antenna on our roof, but as we were only here for three nights, we didn’t try. There’s a nice trail system around the CG to walk with your kids and it is dog friendly. They offer a lot of amenities of which laundry was one that we did use. There’s a nice 9-hole golf course just down the road. They used to let veterans golf for free on Wednesdays, but now charges vets only $5. The CG also had a food truck one evening that was convenient. We wanted to see what all the hype was about and we got the chance. This CG has a lot to offer families or campers who desire a lot of comforts. Overall, its a nice and well run CG, but we are not compelled to repeat with all the other options in the area.

I picked this RV park as for an exploration for hiking and exploring around MT, ID and eastern WA in the summer of 2023. I was impressed by the friendly welcome and continued hospitality of the staff during my stay. The staff had a great set of recommendations for exploring around the are including one hike that was one of the best I took all summer. My site was plenty big for my 34' Class A RV and Ford Bronco and felt there was plenty of space between sites so that is felt comfortable. I did not use many of the facilities as I'm a self-contained RV'er and spent plenty of time exploring and did not spend a long time at the park but found to be quiet and convenient to I-90 but not so close that the highway noise was bothersome. Would highly recommend for an overnight in transit or a longer stay with the family.

Reasonably priced, very well maintained level sites with strong power (118V lowest reading during 99F temps), cute little pool, log cabin looking buildings and really nice staff.
Only wish there was a hot tub.

We have been lucky to call in for a quick over night spot if we have been Boondocking for a while. Gravel hookups and nice staff. We have stay three years in a row. Only complaint is that it was almost $90 per night.

The sites were level and spacious. We stayed there in a 42 foot 5th wheel and there was still space at the site for our truck. The bathrooms and showers were clean but the showers were very small. They have a playground and a swimming pool. You can hear trains at night while you sleep but was not terrible. This campground was full a lot of the time so there were kids for my kids to play with. Families will be very happy here, but still, great even if you don't have kids. We stayed here for 14 nights and loved every minute of it.

Easy access from I-90 and decent interior roads for any size rig.
Staff are helpful and nice. One of the few places I was glad for an escort to the site as the interior meanders a bit with sites at odd angles to each other. This works well for added privacy.
Lots of trails from the park. Not far from golf course and little town that has a couple adequate eateries, both in casinos.
We had horrible smoke, but otherwise it is a lovely area to spend a few days.
