Open year- round. Snow dependent. No reservations are taken. The campground is first come, first served.

Little Joe is currently a group of dispersed campsites and will remain free until campground improvements have been made, at which point the fee will be $10 with a $5 fee for each additional vehicle after two vehicles. Call the Superior Ranger District at 406-822-4233 to find out the current status of the site.

Overall Rating

This place is off the radar of most campers, it seems. It's a great place to camp and is right on a large creek. There are maybe ten sites and most have a fire pit and picnic table. It's down a gravel road about a mile and is maybe three or four miles out of St. Regis. I'd absolutely stay here again.

There are pit toilets but no showers. There were two vehicles with trailer campers but if your camper is too large you'd have a hard time in this campground. You can turn left and right once you enter the campground. To the left there isn't a lot of space to back up or turn large vehicles around. To the right I think there may have been a bit more space. But it is a small place.

Nice Little Spot Right Along A River! Very Small Campground With Only A Few Spots, But It’s Secluded And It Has A Restroom That Is Clean. A Couple Firepits And Picnic Tables In Certain Spots.
