A valid Colorado Parks & Wildlife (CPW) hunting or fishing license is required for everyone 18 or older accessing any State Wildlife Area effective July 1, 2020. An annual hunting or fishing license can be purchased through a CPW authorized sales agent, by phone 800-244-5613, or online at cpwshop.com. Overall Rating
Holy mosquitos in summer! Bring the highest deet you can find. But worth the giant fish that await in the Gold Medal Water. No boats allowed on the two lakes and you can camp right on the water. Clean pit toilets. No water. Did I mention the swarms of mosquitos? Not much else to do around this campground but fish. Not recommended for young kids. Rock fire pits.
