Good area. If the creek rises and you're on the other side then you're screwed. Trees. Sites very close together. Best for vans and tents. Hard to get good solar.

Nice large camp area. Plenty of spots. We showed up late each night and still found a spot to pitch a tent. The ground and air are very dusty. It was about a 20 minute drive from the west entrance of Zion NP and about a mile off of the main road. We felt very safe. Good spot if you don’t mind roughing it in the dust!

Good spot to camp because it’s close to Zion (about 20 minutes) and free!! Very crowded though and locals may honk when driving by during the late or early hours of the day……cell service is good & campsite are situated along a creek. Can get muddy when it rains.

Great and cute place by the water. Lots of shade and great mountain view. Close to the road, but it is not a busy one.

Campsite was easy to find, just off of Kolob Terrace Road. Less than a minute from intersection of Kolob Terrace and Pocketville Rd. Campsite is dusty, but that's to be expected in this area. A small creek runs by one side of the site. I fell asleep listening to the bubbling sound of water. Met two wonderful recent college graduates the next morning all the way from NC! They spent three days in Zion and slept in their SUV at the campsite every night. I only spent one night and slept solid with only a quilt on a sleeping bag + blow-up mattress. It did get a little chilly in the early hours, however.
20 minutes from Springdale, 30 minutes from Zion and a 10 minute drive to La Verkin.

The main road is Kolob Terrace Rd and goes on for miles up the mountain to the reservoir but you want to stay low and near the river or on the west side of the road. Some of the access roads to the river look like they have lower clearances due to overhanging trees and the sites seem small but we opted for the west side of Kolob Terrace Rd and stayed in a canyon/foothills area a few hundred feet off the road. We were only staying one night and had to depart super early for Zion so all we were doing was sleeping for a few hours. It seemed crowded enough in March 2021 to not have a great selection of sites but there are some if you explore a bit. Be sure to scout ahead if you're going down by the river as you might not have enough room for turning around or if you don't want to scrape up your TT or RV.
This place works in a pinch but I would probably pass on it next time and stay further out for better options. There isn't much traffic on the road so staying away from the river is a good option too.

The road into the area is very accessible, but it’s very close to the highway so I’d suggest getting a site closer to the creek. The sites were very close to each other and the area was busy when we went. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want something isolated. But it’s a great site if you are visiting Zion.

Worked great for us, even on memorial day weekend.

There are several places off the right side of Kolob Terrace Road to drive towards the creek and lots of established sites with stone fire pits. We drove in just fine in a 2WD sedan and tent camped. It was crowded, cramped, and loud. Not the nicest spot, but the fact that it was so close to the national park and 2WD accessible made it the perfect choice for just one night.
