We stayed in 17A for 2 weeks. Loved it. Quiet and private. Easy walk across the street to the beach. We found some amazing conch shells. A couple good restaurants within walking distance. Beware the road around the resort and site are all sand. We would give it 5 stars but the one way route out was almost impossible to get out and no option to back up. We had to cause some minor fixable damage to our rig to make the turn. We have a 40ft 5er with a 1 ton tow rig. The problem is the corner is short in length and steep and the highest point is at the apex of the turn and the vegetation makes it super narrow. Beware. If you stay in 17A go the wrong way on the one way to exit. The employees said this issue has never happened so I was the luck first. Even he didn’t see a way to make the turn other then how we approached the corner. Starlink worked great I got thru the canopy with a flagpole.

Great place! Nature at is best! Very private and clean. Location location location. Lots of sand ( we love it ) some people don’t like this so you know is all sand. Office was very nice. Didn’t come for the amenities and didn’t go in to any of them so can’t talk to that. Intercostal side is wonderful.

Very nice RV park, We stayed in beginning of May. It was not crowded. The sites are spacious with enough bushes between sites. We were happy to have a shady site since it was hot. Easy 5 minute walk from our site to the beach which is just across from this RV park. The pool was really nice too.

We travel with a German Shepherd and as a result I am very careful to read all of the pet policies prior to making a reservation. I have no issue with breed exclusions. It's a private business and a park may have insurance restrictions or whatever. Anyway, I thought we found a great place to stay where are our dog would be accepted. On their website their pet policy states "No aggressive pets such as Pit Bulls, Dobermans, Rottweilers, etc., will be tolerated." Great! No mention of GSDs. The "etc." part is a little misleading. I was thinking wolf hybrids or something like that.
The day before our stay I get a confirmation email. In that email the pet policy states, "NO aggressive breeds such as pit bulls, rottweilers, Dobermans, and German Shepard." At this point I panic a little thinking all of our plans are going to be ruined. I called the office and explained that I am diligent about looking for breed restrictions and there is a contradiction between the website and the confirmation email. The lady on the phone was sympathetic. She told me to "don't ask, don't tell" at check in and if anybody said something during our say to tell them we didn't know. It made me a little uneasy thinking that we could get kicked out at any moment, but we went for it versus trying to change all of our plans last minute.
We had a very nice stay and like I mentioned I wish we could stay there again. But as of this review (1 month after my stay) they still have the same verbiage on their website.

Great campground right off the main hwy yet tucked back so that noise is not a problem. The atmosphere is very much along the lines of a state park with large private sites, trees and vegetation but yet all the pluses of a private park like onsite propane, cable and full hook ups. Internet was a bit hit or miss though so if you want reliable internet you should bring a hot spot. There's a verizon tower in the middle of the park so obviously Verizon had great speeds. ATT was also decent.
The grounds are very dusty so expect to be tracking dirt in and out but hey this is literally a stone's throw from the ocean on 1 side and the intercostal on the other so what do you expect?
They kept the grounds very well maintained even after rains. They came through with a tractor to smooth out the dirt roads to ensure they were in good condition.
The only negative I can think of is the check in area can be a cluster $##@ if there's a bunch of RVs that show up at the same time.
Shopping and restaurants are very close by (within 5 min) so you won't have to drive far for anything. St Augustine is also very close and a great town to explore. This is 1 of my favorite private parks for the beach experience.

Stopped in at the public rest rooms once, pretty dated.
Surprised we only had 2 Bars of ATT service this close to town. We were able to throw a hot spot and work when needed.

Very nice campground with sand roads and sites. That said, it looks like each site had enough bushes to separate them all and they were all good sized, and large enough for big rigs. We had full service- 50a, sewer, cable tv. We had space behind our site for walking dogs privately. There is a convenient beach access for residents which makes the price worth it if you want to get on the beach. Cell service - heck yes, there is a cell tower in the middle of the campground. Two decent restaraunts in walk distance. Staff was nice, store had supplies. Obviously, there are tons of things to do here in St Augustine. Campground has the beach on the east and a river on the west for walking, etc. Bike riding is possible, but tricky in the soft sand.
If it rains a little, the fine sand will stick to your shoes and everything and is pretty invasive so be sure you carry plenty of ground cover. Some folks cover their entire sites with woven poly fabric. Metro airport is nearby, so there's plenty of air traffic- small planes though.Try to get a discount using Good Sam , AAA , Military or something because it's expensive otherwise.

We stayed multiple times between September and Christmas and would happily return for another stay. The campground has a two week stay limit, but we would’ve definitely booked a month at a time if it was an option. You are nestled between the ocean and the intracoastal and there are two restaurants within walking distance if that’s something you’re interested in. Publix is less than a ten minute drive away.
The campground has bath houses and laundry, but we didn’t use either, so I can’t comment on those. The only negative was the dumpster- there’s only one area to bring trash and it’s at the entrance of the park. Not the biggest deal, but not super convenient if you aren’t driving out of the park or in a site near the front.
This park feels like a state park, but with full hookups. The three sites we stayed in were all very private and surrounded by trees. We were very happy with all of our stays.
Verizon was so fast! Download 154 Mbps, upload 36.1 Mbps. AT&T also worked, but not nearly as well.

Loved the location and private feel of the sites. Good beach access. They pack you in tight though and it’s pretty noisy. Bathrooms were generally gross after the weekenders came in. Also, only 2 showers and 2 toilets for a big section of the park is not enough.
Kids made a lot of noise playing ball after 9:00pm.
