We stayed at this campground for two nights beginning 06/11/2022 in site 61, a pull-thru site with one of the bigger shade trees in the park relatively close to the entrance. Xfinity service was 1-2/4 bars LTE. This Good Sam park offered a $5/night military discount; we paid $40/night by check. Cash or checks only; credit cards are ... more
We stayed at this campground for two nights beginning 06/11/2022 in site 61, a pull-thru site with one of the bigger shade trees in the park relatively close to the entrance. Xfinity service was 1-2/4 bars LTE. This Good Sam park offered a $5/night military discount; we paid $40/night by check. Cash or checks only; credit cards are not accepted. Lots of long-term residents, but very quiet and peaceful. There is a pool, but we didn’t use it and saw no one in it. Wifi worked well. Gravel was good quality. 50A hookups. Water pressure was a bit light, but sufficient. We had some voltage fluctuation problems on our second day on Sunday (the hotter of the two days of heat wave over 100° F), but because the office was closed on Sundays, we were not able to determine whether the power problem was due to our pedestal, the park, or the power company; with this heat wave, we would expect that the power company was maxed out. Conveniently located off the I-35 north of Georgetown. We would stay again.

This was a very nice quiet park. We had a pull thru site with plenty of room to hook and unhook our tow vehicle. We did not use any facilities but they looked fine. The park was full but never heard anything going on. Appears a lot of people are permanent residents.

This was our first night on an 18 month journey. Having just taken the RV out of storage you can imagine there were a lot of problems. The RV park was not one of them. We’ve been to many RV parks on the outskirts of big cities and this one is superior to most. It’s clean, the gentleman at the office is amazing and helpful, and the local mechanic James Martinson is reasonable and highly skilled. I really hope anytime something breaks on my RV I’m in Austin so James can fix it. The park is in the country north of Austin. There’s a nature park nearby and a huge cavern but not much else. That’s ok, Austin is not far off. Great launching pad for any adventures in Austin or Round Rock.

Nice local place with classy neighbors. Many sweet long term people. Easy site access and FHU. Close to our family in Sun City. Quiet(at last a place without a train). No cable TV but plenty of stations of the air. Good WiFi and cell service.
