Sites are on grassy areas under mature shade trees. Part of a frisbee golf Course runs along back side of sites. Restrooms were well stocked and clean and trash pickup can while we were there. This is our second stay while transiting Between Florida and Colorado. Very easy access off of interstate. Would definitely come here yet again.

There were lots of kids various ages playing at the park which was refreshing so our two could go play after a lot of road miles. We were driving a DP with a tow car and had no issue pulling right up to the electric and water. The electric is a bit high on the pole and is clearly marked.

No reservations needed to camp here. Perfect for our last-minute overnight choice. Beautiful grassy spots with electric and water and a dump station. Quiet and a quick 10 minutes from I35. Plenty of space for kids to play at the park, disk golf, basketball, horseshoes, and volleyball. A $10 gem!

This park is 9 miles off the interstate and worth the trip for the peace and quiet at nite + Oxford City PD patrolling regularly. Turn right onto N. Iowa St(south), then make right turn at Clark Street (west) for the north entrance. South Entrance-stay on Iowa, take 2nd right turn on Cedar (west) for the south entrance. There are 30 amp boxes on telephone poles about 6 feet up the pole, many, not all sites have water spigots (winter type, water is on). If sewer dump valve is on your driver side, like mine, you will want to exit the park to the north and pull up to the dump station right near the red pay box. Dump station has no concrete apron, look for water spigot. There are TWO poles with 50 amp power boxes (4 plugs on each pole for potential 8 50 amp coaches at the north end. Boxes are marked "50". There are two covered pavillions that would be perfect for a group traveling together, including 30 amp boxes close by. Southern pavillion has a fireplace. Most of the power boxes I opened looked brand new, little wear. My power management box showed clean, steady power at the 50 amp site. Bonus: I found I parked under the surveillance camera aimed at the pay station-yay. There are no defined sites, that said, beware the guy wires to the power poles on the east side of the park, near the 'back lane'. I would not advise driving in from that side after dark, even though there are lights in the park. Don't know when it rained here last, ground is fairly soft. I wouldn't put jacks down unless you have pads, and even they are sinking a little-sorry.
I'm the only one here right now, another bonus. This place must be hopping in the summer because of the attractions for families (playground, showers, disc golf course,). I had better luck than another with TV signal, but I just upgraded my OTA antenna (added $50 part to 2002 era roll up antenna). I picked this park because DTV maps showed signal, and, it was sheltered from wind storm Monday-not disappointed. Trees in the park are well trimmed and nothing hit the rig through the windstorm. The only grocery store in town closed earlier in the year, so groceries are 9 miles east (Winfield-Wmart, Dillons), or 9 miles west, on the other side of the interstate (Wmart). Caseys within walking distance has gas, no diesel. Both Verizon phone and Hotspot getting good signal. This is a perfect place to spend a few days resting, doing laundry (in your rig, none in town), cleaning up, walking the dogs. The ONLY unusual thing-some hobo in a car pulled in at 10 pm the first nite I was here and ran the car ALL NITE LONG. I called city hall and they were 'on it', police patrols increased-great guys!

We had no problem. You can either back your rig in or pull thru to road. We pulled through. They have a Casey's just bout a block away. The OLD MILL is a site to see! Not much else. 2 nice size towns either direction both have walmarts and various shopping. In Oxford they have a pecan orchard that opens to public mid November. .. The rv park has lots of shade. Electric (30amp) and water. No over air tv would come in to many trees I guess. But very nice place to walk .they also have frisbee golf! horseshoes. Playground.
We will stay again..

Apparently, we love city/county parks that welcome weary travelers to their communities. This one is an excellent choice.

This is a great stop for travelers! Easy entrance to park with electric, water and dump station. The sites were level with mostly back in sites. No low hanging limbs and clean bathrooms.
It is obvious the local government takes great pride in this park!
