We stayed in sites 57 56. Kind of weird layout. Not very level but we van camp. Showers were private hot and clean. Restrooms were clean. We stayed 5 nights for closeness to pictured rocks believe 5 miles. Road noise was a little much. Close to beach and Long walks nice sunsets. Wi-Fi not good even though we were close to antenna.

We were a 40’ Class A in site 31. We fit in the site great and were able to easily level, but we were surrounded by tents, buses, campers, etc. Water is shared with your neighbors from splitters. Very few mature trees in the campground. The campground stays full. We would stay here again.

Munising is the gateway to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, one of the most scenic and popular spots around. Naturally, this means the place is swarming with visitors and campers eager to take in the stunning cliffs, waterfalls, and beaches. The RV campground situation is very tight, especially during the high season. The crown jewel of RV camping here is the Munising Tourist Park Campground. We loved it. What a wonderful place! The campground is right on the beautiful beach of Lake Superior, and you’ll never have to walk more than 300 feet to get your feet sandy. It’s extremely well-maintained with spacious and green campsites. Those facing the lake get front-row seats to mesmerizing sunsets every night—talk about camping with a view!

This campground is centrally located in the UP and allowed us to spend time at Pictured Rocks, Kitch-iti-Kipi, and a boat tour and be within 5 to 45 mins of everything.
The sunsets on Lake Superior are….well, superior!
If you have the chance, stay here, you’ll love it!

We pulled in without a reservation on a cold rainy and windy night. Got an overflow spot with water and electric. You do need extra length for hook ups in those spots. The view is absolutely gorgeous. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Last minute booking, but got “lake view” site #44 for $44 per night during the week. Had 50-amp E & W. Dump station close by. Wide pavement site fairly level with fire ring and picnic table. View of lake. Would love to stay again with a waterfront location!

The campground is accessible to all the Munising attractions. Grand Harbor Scenic Overlook, Miners Castle Upper and Lower Overlooks, Kitch, Iti Kipi, Log Slide Overlook and several waterfalls are all within an hour. We were there the last week of September and the leaves were not quite at their peak color but the area was still beautiful!

This is a rustic municipal CG, right on Lake Superior. Kind of no-frills, but one of my favorites on this trip. Hint: bring 50' of water hose. P&W hookups only, some pull-thrus. We went despite 20 mph winds and 4'-5' waves. The camera opportunities are worth it. There are water falls around too., but bring some M&Ms to power you up the steps.

This was a cute little camp ground that was perfect for our stop just past Pictured Rocks. We got the last spot that was available; the campground is first come first serve during the fall. There is access to the beach, the bathrooms and showers were nice.
