Overall Rating

A sprawling complex owned by the City of Maryvile, MO. Three campgrounds. One is tenting for $10 a night. The other two are RV campgrounds. Arrived without reservations and was given a spot in the Reserved RV Campground. If you book in advance you’re charged a flat $10 reservation fee. The non-reserved campground was quite full with a number of apparent full timers and weekenders who leave their rigs parked there. Reserved campground was almost empty. About 20 spots mostly pull throughs. Concrete pads with picnic tables and fire rings.

The real draw here is the many activities available. Swimming beach, fishing piers, boating, miles of concrete paths for biking or running, and 27 holes of golf. Decent municipal golf course $40 for 18 with cart. Beautiful newish clubhouse with full bar and restaurant. Two indoor golf simulator bays.

Bathhouse was clean but a bit dated. Free and very fast WiFi. Electric and water at site with dump station.
My biggest criticisms are little shade at the sites and some of the roads could use paving. Other than those two gripes this is a top notch destination.
