Mountain Oak Campground

We camped here in November, 2022, and had a great time! The area is a beautiful forest with lots of trees and the campsites are reasonably spaced. There is easy access from N4 into the campground. There were mostly tent campers with a couple of smaller travel trailers. Our trailer is 23' and that is about as big as could fit into the spots. Some of the sites are more level than others so take a look at the photos on Recreation.gov. We stayed in Spot #5 which was quite sloped but we were able to level the trailer. The camphost was very nice and came by and welcomed us on arrival. We also had some very nice folks camped next to us. We went for a long hike and did some soft off-roading. The only drawback was very little cell coverage (no Verizon, 1 bar T-Mobile). Highly recommended.
