A lot of the side roads are closed near and around this campground.
Even paid for campgrounds were closed so check online before hand
I saw a sign saying road closed for Dec 15 - March 15 iirc at an earlier junction (the other main dispersed camping road near by)

Great place a few big enough for 5th wheels. Road is better to the left but more sites to the right. Most sites shaded Solar may be a challenge but a few good sunny sites.

Closed, gated, and locked along with the rest of the mountain camping areas. No att but Verizon got 25 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload with a small booster. Definitely suggest a weboost drive reach.
Its at 8k elevation and really beautiful

Me and my wife were going to stay at redington dispersed campsite but when we got there it was still a blistering 106 degree so we looked else where and found this spot you pull off mt lemon highway and at the fork we went left and camp to a spot in the trees where we could pull our little pop up camper. There are spots where you would need a 4x4 to stay in but you can also find spots to pull a small trailer in. Tons of opportunities to tent camp basically everywhere here.
If you take a left at the fork it takes you back to another area that has more camping choices and a nice little hike around the spot we found using all trails
We stayed the end of August and the days were like 75 and the nights were 60 or under we never had to run a generator just opened the windows
Zreece3 would stay here again

“High elevation - closed Dec 1 to Mar 1”

We didn’t actually stay here because when we drove up in early February the site was closed. We weren’t too disappointed because it’s at about 8,000 feet and it was really cold and snowy up there.
Despite that it was very easy to get to and the drive up was gorgeous. We would try to stay here in nicer weather.

Entered East Bigelow road off mount Lemmon road. After driving about a quarter mile and two turnoffs later i turned west to head down a off-road area. It was very private and surrounded by trees. This would be a great place to spend several nights and camp, mountain bike and hike. Mountain bike is my favorite for this area.
Again, this is an excellent sight for camping and it’s secluded but only 5 minutes off the east bigelow road.
