Does anyone know how far this campground is from Brown Mountain Beach?

I’ve had this CG show up in my searches and finally decided to visit. There are 17 sites, 5 walk in tent sites, the rest are typical FS camp sites suitable for rvs and/or tents. I’ve had this CG show up in my searches and finally decided to visit.
There are 17 sites, 5 walk in tent sites, the rest are typical FS camp sites suitable for rvs and/or tents.
No hookups but flush toilets and hot showers.
The elevation is only 1500 feet or so which means things get pretty hot during the summer. I was there mid May Roughly 1/2 to 3/4 inches of rain each day with highs in the upper 60s, lows around 50 so the weather was tolerable.
Fishing and gravel bike riding seem to be the major draws.
The CG is on Wilson Creek, well known to anglers in this part of the world. There are several branches to fish in the area. Hatchery supported with special rules that you should be familiar with.
For bike riders there are miles of gravel roads in amazingly good condition. One could easily put together a 25-40 mile ride almost exclusively off pavement.
Visit in the spring or fall.

Overall Rating
Nice sites, flush toilets, hot showers, 2 trails leave from CG. Arrived on a Sunday in May and lots of people were leaving, only 2 other sites taken that night. Very helpful camp host: she lent us her trail map. There is a small store very near the CG.

This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds I have ever been too. There are toilets and showers. Fresh water and fire pits with each campsite. Bear proof trash cans and a small stream running through the campground. Across the street is a lovely beach with clear water. You can also fish for trout a little bit further down the stream.... more
This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds I have ever been too. There are toilets and showers. Fresh water and fire pits with each campsite. Bear proof trash cans and a small stream running through the campground. Across the street is a lovely beach with clear water. You can also fish for trout a little bit further down the stream. There is a small hiking trail at the back of the site that leads to a waterfall. There is also a small cemetery, which produced late night scares for us!
Not so kid friendly, as there is nothing nearby for them to do (unless they enjoy hiking).
Can't wait to return!
