Overall Rating

Peace, tranquility and serene is Moorings II Campground. It is a very quiet RV Campground with amazing views. It is the sister to Moorings I in Belfast, which is a few miles SE from Moorings II. Each site in the Campground has a view of the Harbor and each is easy to get into and out of. The Campground has pull throughs and Pull ins, however you can back into the Pull ins if desired, but with the views why not face the water. You will see great sun rises, a variety of sea life (Seals, Whales, Seahawks, Eagles and Porpoises). The staff is great and always willing to do what they can to make you stay as pleasant as possible. In addition to great campsites they have a house on site (original house) that is used as an Airbnb and VRBO. Moorings II is just a few miles from Searsport and approximately 7 minutes from Belfast. In addition, Bangor, Augusta, Stonington, and Bar Harbor are just a stone throw away making this campground a perfect base camp for adventures in Maine.
